  1. Don’t knock it until you try it. I was the same way and the wife made me try it and it was actually good!
  2. On more than one occasion I’ve received them from a member on here when I’ve bought lures from him. That’s one way to get rid of them. ? #leakyroof
  3. And don’t eat bakers chocolate ?
  4. He chickened out last year and regretted it. So he found the courage this year and loved it.
  5. 6poundbass took a helicopter ride Friday at a festival in town. Made the front page news Saturday morning too.
  6. Veggie pizza
  7. Tried something new and it turned out pretty good!
  8. We’ve never rescued dogs from shelters per sey but we’ve reduced dogs from undesirable homes. Hank which has been a frequent fliers on here, we found him a few times on the loose and took him to the local vet, after four times they said “ we know who he belongs to and it you can find a good home for him we highly recommend it”. Well 6 years later here he is. Lola our pug, we saw a Facebook post looking to rehome her. When we got there we knocked on the door we heard a dog fight! We instantly thought she was being Attacked! Little did we know it was her that was being aggressive which is unheard of from a Pug! So we thought she was being abused. Little did we know she was the one starting the fights and was very aggressive. She started the fights, and was very aggressive! She still starts fights but has gotten better and now that all we have left is a 140lb dog we sometimes laugh. Long story short, had we not found her, she could’ve been bounced from house to house, or easily been put down! Thank god Hank is 140lbs and east going, because she intimidates him like no other!
  9. A cousin of the striper? ? For everyone having fly issues, get this. You can thank me later. Great fun! https://www.amazon.com/BUG-A-SALT-3-0-Yellow/dp/B089CDCCR1
  10. I’ve seen some horse flies around here with Uber signs on their backs!
  11. Asphalt is more common in the north because of the freezing ground during the cold months. It’ll flex and move with the ground and last long than concrete. Plus, it’s usually cheaper. Concrete does two things 1: hardens 2: cracks
  12. Like @LonnieP said, it should’ve had an inline fuse to protect it. Get another batter so you’re not just using one, hook it up, and go fish.
  13. Interesting you mention this. My wife just had a customer they other day tell her the other day she loves regular field corn. She boils it in sugar water I guess. Interesting.
  14. I think that’s my issue. I haven’t had the boat wet once this year. It’s been crazy busy around home and exceptionally busy and stressful at work and I think it’s taking it’s toll on my motivation to go fishing.
  15. I hear ya. Liam starts middle school next week. He went from 9 weeks premature and weighing 4.5lbs, to 5’6” 106lbs in a VERY quick 12 years!
  16. Probably. The water is too cold excuse doesn’t work during the summer months for Mr. Loon.
  17. Looks like he has it down pat. Next weekend you’ll have to let him drive the Super Duty.
  18. I’m guessing they’re either in their golden years or they realized kids were too expensive and said no more.
  19. I heard this the other night while doing yard work. I didn’t look at my phone in time to see who it was. I thought it was lost forever. ?
  20. I make sure they’re thoroughly cooked. Brats too
  21. We’re doing burger and bats. There was one night we splurged and did T-bones to the tune of $57. They turned out great on the pellet grill! We’ll wait for another time to do it again.
  22. I did this! ?
