  1. Gronk is getting traded to the Bucks?
  2. Don’t tell my family we can’t fish!!!!
  3. With the ridiculous price of college these days, college football should only be a bonus not a necessity for a college to survive. If it’s a necessity then something is bass ackwards and things need to be re-evaluated. Obviously I know what I’m saying is bass ackwards. ? or is it ??
  4. I don’t have internet besides my phone, means I’ll probably never watch it. Maybe when my son is in high school and ‘needs’ internet I might get it.
  5. How’d it turn out?
  6. You don’t have to lie to be cool Paul. We all accept you for you here. ?
  7. What do you recommend the schools do, field trip? ?
  8. If she extends it, would it be worth it for you to stay in Ohio, shoot up the river and fish the Canadian side?
  9. We have the Michigan rattler. It is very very rare. One killed a chocolate lab in my town about 12 years ago. Their venom isn’t strong enough to kill a healthy human, most it’s problematic for pets and animals.
  10. Yep all the lakes in the state of Michigan today. You can fish out of a row boat but not a boat with any type of motor.
  11. Thankfully it’s all staying down by you and the Michigan boarder. We might see a dusting.
  12. I know it’s Michigan and it’s still April but, COME ON MAN! There needs to be a law in nature that states if you have a 70 degree day you can’t have anymore snow for at least 7 months.
  13. You’re not the only one, trust me. My wife gets calls quite frequently asking if she’ll shave this dog or that dog. Most say they can’t find a groomer that will, that’s why. The only dogs that do terribly in the heat are the dogs with short snouts or smushed in faces, like pugs, bulldogs, etc. The general rule of thumb the shorter the snout the harder time they have in the heat. Hope this helps.
  14. Be careful shaving any dog with a double coat, as it can ruin their coat and do more harm than good. In the warmer months frequent brushing should help them quite a bit. Their double coat like my Great Pyrenees has helps keep them warm in the winter and keep them cool in the summer. A good double coat brush works the best. Brushing them once a week sometimes more when shedding is bad works wonders for them. A little trimming here and there is fine especially on their undercarriage in the warmer months helps quite a bit.
  15. In my travels every day for work (around 150 miles) I go by plenty of boat launches and I’ve yet to see one that had more than 2-3 empty trailers sitting at them. We all know it’s the Detroit River anglers that brought the attention to us. I say we shun the walleye anglers! ? In all seriousness though why not limit the number of people in your boat to two people and they must live at the same residence as you? How hard would that be to enact that?
  16. I’m a frog guy, absolutely love it! I’ve never thrown a buzz bait or buzz frog, but I pick one up a couple months ago and figured I’ll give it a shot this year. What length and action rod are you guys throwing buzz baits and buzz frogs on?
  17. Cream cheese and maple ground breakfast sausage. I almost forgot, the picture doesn’t show it but we put a small dab of bbq sauce on top of the bacon as well. I can only do so much pork too. I did a ham last Sunday and ribs today. I’m taking a break from pork for a while.
  18. That looks good! I got an injector a couple weeks ago. I haven’t tried injecting yet, but I think a turkey will be my guinea pig pretty soon.
  19. They turned out good. A little over done (dry) but the flavor was great! First time using pecan for the smoke, pretty good flavor.
  20. My first was a Black Rhino I got from Walmart. I was 22-23, that thing was a loud hunk of junk, I made it work though.
  21. The ribs are rubbed down and I just threw them on the smoker. 2-2-1 is the fool proof method I use. I’ll post the after when they’re done.
  22. My wife is a traveling dog groomer and she’s getting nervous thinking about what she’ll be in for when she’s able to get back to grooming. ?
  23. Welcome from Montcalm county in the middle of the mitten.
