Growing up we had a dog and a cat. I met my wife and she had a dog. The past 17 years we’ve had dogs and unfortunately lost dogs. This may my wife brought home a cat she rescued. To say I was beyond ticked would be an understatement! She had said she wanted to but I didn’t believe her. I’m not a cat person, but this guy is friendly, and is more like a dog than a cat. He’s managed to weasel his way into my life and is pretty much my cat. ? I’m getting soft in my old age I guess.

That sucks! My wife usually catch’s something and is sick on Christmas and it usually catches up with me for New Year’s. We caught it about a month ago so we’re good this year.

Our sledding hill as a kid we called Mt. Buttmore because the only way you could go down it was on your butt. There was one kid over all those years who made it down on a snowboard. That place was legendary and I still look at it when I go to my dad’s.

Well as of now this storm has been a dud, which I guess isn’t entirely a bad thing. It’s only 6 with a windchill of -16. The snow has been the dud, we’ve only received around 6”. The wind is blowing at a pretty good clip which has windswept the roads and created treacherous conditions.

Look at @A-Jay house, his is a 4/12 pitch. If your’s is steeper than it’s a 5/12, 6/12, etc. no bueno for walking on it with snow.

What’s the pitch of your roof? If it’s more than a 4/12 I wouldn’t attempt it with snow. @Way north bass guy just the little bit I can see of his looks like a 6/12 or more. I’d like to know how he did it too. How about a garden hose. I know it’s bitter out, but could you spray it with water? The water should run off before it freezes. Obviously you’d have to drain the hose before it freezes. Problem solved!
