My friend got video of a bobcat in October during bow season in one of the food plots my son and I have been hunting the past couple weeks. I saw a bobcat crossing the road about 1000 yds south of the location my friend saw one this past October, so I’m assuming there’s a well established family of them around the area. My friend is a trapper and traps his property so it’s surprising he’s never caught one out there. There’s a short trapping season for bobcat in our area now. He also got a bear on trail cam last year which is rare as well for our area.

I just go with the flow so I don’t have to comment on the “marital problems” thread. ? Joking aside, my wife really only decorates for Christmas. She started right after Halloween, but wasn’t feeling it because it was still warm out. Once we got the cold snap and snow she was right there getting things out. Thankfully her mom ruined her with Christmas lights on the house. When my FIL was working in China we’d have to put her the Christmas lights and there were a ton! After it’s all said and done Christmas lights on house can and usually do look good but it’s a lot of work and usually not the best weather up here, which played in my favor. She has her décor inside and gets a couple wreaths for outside. She’s too OCD for a real tree which we tried one time.

An extra batch was requested for this year. We still didn’t get much to take home. It’s pretty dang good!

Dinner has been done since two, watched the Bills win, went out hunting, and now that I’m back home it’s time for my favorite time with the turkey…..making turkey salad! I make it every year, let it sit overnight, then eat leftovers and turkey salad sandwiches tomorrow while watching the high school football state championship games on TV.

We had turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, corn casserole (I love that stuff), candy yams, mashed potatoes, and apple pie.

The Bills are still looking a bit rough but, a win is a win. I sure hope Von Miller is going to be alright. The last hit Allen took to the knee took sure took a couple years off my life.

About 70% of it has melted since Saturday. At least you got to see it. Perfect for making snowballs!

Henry, the cat I didn’t want who has somehow became my buddy, decided to take residence under the Christmas tree last night.

Hopefully today’s game is a sign the Bills are back on track. It was quite the community effort to get some of the players out of their homes and to the bus in time to make it to the airport. There are some videos floating around of neighbors helping dig out some of the players, and stories of some of the players trecking through waist deep snow to get to a cleared spot to get picked up. Now they have to go through it again to get them back home. I don’t understand why they don’t just stay in Detroit, since they play there again in four days. Go Bills!

so assuming TCU and Clemson win and Michigan loses, you think it would be, Georgia OSU TCU Clemson

Do you think the loser of the OSU/U of M game gets knocked out of the top four? If it’s a blow out, I can see it. If it’s a close game, I don’t see it. TCU has had a few close games. Clemson got beat pretty good by ND. I just don’t see a number 2-3 team getting bumped if they lose to a 2-3 team. That being said, I am a bit worried about Michigan. Corum’s status is up in the air, their backup RB is out, their number two receiver hasn’t played the last two games although he dressed Saturday, and McCarthy’s accuracy flat out sucked yesterday!

This lake is by far our favorite lake. I’ve talked about it a few times before. It’s a bit of work to launch the boat and more work to get to fishable water. Well worth it since leprechauns and unicorns live at this lake. ?

I’m not a big fish eater. My friends dad would get them smoked after we caught them. I know of others that would can them.
