Chrome Sexy Shad Sexy Shad Summer Sexy Shad Got quite few of these still unopened in 1/4 and 1/2 oz. I don't fish anywhere deep enough to need a 3/4 oz. Still haven't tried the 2 tap, but thinking about getting 1 or a dozen.

Yeah, just don't give up. I had same thing happen to me few months ago in November. Big pods of shad swimming everywhere all over the lake which has super clear water. I could look out & count probably 15-20 baitfish pods flicking around at the surface. Then all sudden there'd be commotion everywhere as bass would start busting & feeding on a few schools of shad. Sometimes what seemed like 4 or 5 pounders were busting & jumping outta the water. I must've run up & down the bank for 2 hrs chasing the action with no results. Couldn't seem to get them to hit anything I threw: poppers, flukes, swimbaits, shallow crankbaits. Finally got 2 bites on a lipless crankbait. It was very frustrating. The added problem you have is super muddy water. That's why I'm thinking something on the surface making a lotta noise might work. But, the muddy water might work to your advantage. Sometimes that keeps the fish from spooking so easily, especially bank fishing. Keep us posted.

I've always been skeptical of buying reels on eBay. I got burned once on a Shimano Curado 200E, supposedly brand new in box. It did look brand new, and had everything in the box. But that reel had something wrong with it & it never cast correctly. Got same exact reel from bass pro & it casts like a bullet.

I'd try throwing a big topwater bait: big popper, buzzbait, Zara Spook. If they're busting at the surface that much, they gotta be chasing shad/baitfish. But I gotta admit, sometimes I have a really hard time getting schooling bass to bite when they get so focused on pods of baitfish. It gets frustrating to see all that action & not get a bite. I've seen big bass jump completely outta the water. It happens, although I've never seen it as frequently as you're describing. Best of luck. Maybe you'll hook a big one.

I'm mixed on The OA. It started great, but towards the end got kinda hokey with the movements. The ending tho left me kinda intrigued. Now I gotta watch the next season to see what's up.

I'm in Southaven, but drive over to Germantown and Collierville occasionally to bank fish. We need to hook up with @WDE also. He fishes same areas a lot as well.

+1 from me. I keep a couple 3/8 oz Booyah spinners in my arsenal. It's my go to spinnerbait & good price.

Yeah I've thought bout saving some old ones that get worn out & paint chipped off. It doesn't take long to chip the paint of the chrome ones, especially on a couple lakes I fish. They absolutely crush a chrome with dark back. Have had a few days where the chrome paint was mostly chipped off after only 1 day on the water. ? Hmmmmm!

Yeah, last summer I was throwing it on a baitcaster with fluoro. Might try it on one of my spinning outfits this yr.

Yeah, bout my take on the place as well. They're nice guys, but it ain't a top notch bait & tackle store. I stop in from time to time when I'm over that way for work. I've picked up a few used & new cranks & couple packs of hand poured soft plastics.

I've got a scatter rap shallow crank. Caught a few on it, but I haven't really fished it a lot. My my biggest complaint is that it does cast very well.

Yep. Reminded me I had a similar shot. ? There's something about those calm days where the reflection on the water is an inverted mirror image.
