  4. Try to adjust the magnet on the side, it will cut out alot of the backlash problem when you hit something. I haven't tried to skip with a BC yet but might have to give ita try this weekend.
  5. That is a nice looking fish congrats.

  13. When I was about 4-5 years old my mom, dad, sister and I were out crappie fishing on Cave Run lake. My Mom takes the rod and reaches back as far as she can to make a cast. As she goes forward she notices that she can't see her bait going out. She turns around and there I stand with the hook through my right ear. My Dad said that she just about fell out of the boat from the shock of it and all I can say is Mommy you hooked me. To this day that is the only time I have ever had my ears pierced. ;D

Those are some nice looking cranks. I really like the craw/spatterback look. Good job
  15. You might want to try downsizing your lures aswell and go with a natural color. I have found that this works real well on clear water situations for me.
  16. Great work if the sun was bright they could have moved deeper or moved to the shallow side of the cover it is hard to say. Bass are alot of times reaction predators they will strike if the bait is right in front of them out of instinct. keep the bait tight to cover and you will do fine.
  17. Get you a good assortment of lures. 1. Senkos are great soft plastics you can wacky rig, dead stick them, texas rig them, or anything else you can think of. 2. Spinnerbaits, they will do a great job on active fish around alot of different cover. 3. topwaters, poppers, zara spooks, buzz baits all are great at early morning bites and sometimes will produce all day long in the right condtions 4. Crankbaits get them in an assortment of sizes and colors both with a lip and lipless styles great for probing deep and shallow. 5. sometype of plastic worm in different sizes from 4-10 inches. This is just a start you will find that as time goes on you will need more and more different lures but these are a great basic start to have.
  18. That is a great looking fish congrats.
  19. Looks like she had a good time and those are some nice looking fish.
  20. Thats a nice looking fish congrats.
  21. I would have to say Mike and Mike in the morning on ESPN2. I work nights and don't have a TV so this is about the only time a get to watch something on a regular basis.
  22. Congrats on some great looking fish.
  23. Lift the rod tip then let it sink back down then start reeling to give it a different look. Try making it do different things. You can even work them like a hard jerk bait, a few quick twitches then a short pause. On soft plastics it will if it is right against the hook I feel. it will put to much wieght on the front and make it work like a sinker. Good luck and that is what this site is for. I have learned alot from it and it feels good to give a lttle back
  24. congrats on the new PB it is a great looking fish keep up the good work
