  6. I am setting at work right now and as soon as the pictures came up I heard a voice from behind me say "Lets go shopping".
  7. I learned of this site from my cousin Cigarlover. He was home for the hollidays back in 06 and showed it to me. I have learned alot and have tried many of the things I have read on here so it was a great thing to find out about.
  8. Good luck to all those who fish in it.
  9. I have 3 kids and all have been out with me. My oldest is 10 and he doesn't touch live bait either. I also have a 6 year old boy and a 5 year old daughter and they both have a great time. I started them out fishing for bluegill and other panfish just to get them started. A couple of tips to help you out: 1.) Don't keep them out to long, a couple of hours at best. Kids get tired quickly so short trips help to get them to want to go again. 2.) Bring them something else to do incase the fishing is slow. We all know that a 5 year old gets easily distracted. Let them bring a couple of toys to set and play with it will get them to want to stay a little longer and help if the fishing is tough.
  10. Replacing all the hooks on my hard baits. Watching every DVD I have on fishing and read every mag Ihave got for the last year on fishing.
  11. For Largemouth I would have to go with the Cali. Delta. Smallmouth Lake Erie either east or west end.
  12. Sounds good just let me know when and we will see what we can do. 8-)
  13. My goal for last year: "Well looking for a new personal best 5+ lbs. I have been stuck on 4 for to long. It is so sad " I got it by 1 ounce while at my sister's house with cigarlover as my witness.
  14. It would be a great way to get younger people in to fishing and that is something the sport needs. The companys out there selling equipment would love to see the $50 per game for the xbox/ps3/ or the nintendo that could insted to to crankbaits/spinnerbaits/ or buzzbaits. I know when I was in high school I spent much of my time fishing and buying equipment all the time. To be able to due it for my school would have been great. I wasn't into the traditional sports so this would have been great for me. I am sure that any of the local clubs would be more than ready to help there area schools out. Most due things with kids anyway and this is just one more thing they can do.
  15. I am not perdicting as much as hoping. To get a new personal best and also by the end of the year to atleast be compatitive in my first year fishing in club tournaments.

  17. My wife and i have been together for 7 years come May 25 and in that time the only time she has ever complains about my fishing is when I don't get back when I tell her I will. The easiest way for this to work is for both of you to get your time in for what you are in too.
  18. Congrats on a good day and way to go on having the patience to stick it out.
  19. Caddyshack is great but don't forget the Vacation movies with Chevy Chase. Every year at Christmas Christmas Vacation is on at my folks. ;D ;D
  20. Welcome to the site
  21. I saw on ESPN that a he is claiming that he was lied to and that promises for his players and for the football program weren't met and that is why he left. It is the same thing that John Beilein said to get his buyout brought down. Now being a UK fan I don't have a dog in this fight but I find it kind of intresting that they both left saying the same thing.
  22. found this on yahoo check it out. http://www.yahoo.com/s/764196 Think she watches were she is going from now on. ;D
  23. That gave me a great laugh setting here at work. I had to cover my mouth to keep from wakeing patients.
  24. I work in a sleep labso my job is to watch people at night and figure out what is wrong with there sleep. I see a few insomnia patients a month and the one thing that the Dr here at the lab has tokd me that most insomnia is a learned behavior. The best way to fix it is to get your body in a routine that triggers it to want to go to sleep. The exercise he uses most is one of the dumbest sounding things I have heard but people we have talked to says it works. You set on the edge of the bed and close your eyes. Then repeat over and over "I am ready to go to sleep" or "It is time to go to sleep". You do it about 10 to 20 times while pointing at your left temple then your right temple. Then you lay down get comfortable and don't move. In your head you keep repeating which ever one you say till you go to sleep. Sounds crazy but I have talked to Patients that say it takes one time saying it now and they go right to sleep.
