Best leader line
I use p-line cxx 17lb for leaders. I fish it hard! I was fishing heavy cover this weekend, pitching to the dead center of it and wrenched 2 fish over 6lbs out of it. Not saying another line couldn't have done this but for a line that's 10 bucks for 300 yards, it does awesome.

Help with Daiwa Tatula Reels
There are videos of how to set up a tatula with the magforce z brakes. You set them up completely different than an ordinary reel. Be sure to watch these before you take out your new reel. When you do it as the video suggests, you will get maximum performance out of your reel. Both pitching And casting. And even though the curado is the more expensive reel, I prefer my tatula ct's. There is just something about them.

If you could reset your tackle box and do it all over, what would you include?
Wouldn't include anything, but would exclude all buzzbaits, frogs, poppers, shakey heads, and senko style baits. Way too much money wasted on these baits.

Help with Daiwa Tatula Reels
There is no response to the curado, these reels are a million times different. The ct is a smaller framed reel than the plain tatulas. The type r comes in a 8.1 gear ratio left hand retrieve, and has a different drag knob and different paint job. The tatula sv is a reel with a shallower spool and can throw lighter baits easier. If you go in expecting your tatula to perform like a curado you'll be dissapointed, the braking systems, although both amazing, are completely different. Just my .02 since I own and fish both reels side by side.

First time using a baitcaster
That's what my friend and his family use for crappie. None of them even know how to use a spinning reel. But it works for them. They also refuse to use any senkos..weird friends I've got!

Advice for small lake, low water level.
No, water was even lower than the previous week. Bright bluebird skies, but about a 15 degree lower temp change and probably 10 degree lower water temp change

oversized lures
They're not over sized, just different from what you usually throw. Research some of them and learn the technique and you'll be surprised what a "large" lure will catch

Advice for small lake, low water level.
Well, we ended up pitching magnum rage bugs to the row of stick ups outside of the weed edge all day. And it worked! Took home first place and big fish!

Do fish get educated to a certain bait?
I don't believe so. We literally catch hundreds if not thousands of bass on a white double willow spinnerbait every year in the same 65 acre pit. And have caught the same fish multiple different times in a year on the same bait in the same spot. We are fishing for animals that have a brain smaller than a grape, either they are active or inactive, want what bait your throwing or They don't. I don't believe they think "oh! George must be fishing, there he is throwing around his drop shot again, better not eat it!"

Never fished at any of those. But I feel like if you had 14-15lbs youd have to be in the money or at least close.
