  1. Lots of different crawfish colors
  2. Anybody watch the fight? Anyone have it for Canelo? I had it 116-112 GGG, not one media person scored it for Canelo and 3 had it as a draw. Adelaide Byrd had it 118-110 Canelo. And they said the Mayweather/McGregor fight was the one that was going to be fixed.
  3. I have seen this question before but i have never had an issue with uploading images. I added 2 pics in a tackle thread. What size are your pics? If you are on a PC, you should have MSpaint. You can open an image in paint at the top there will be a resize option. You can resize by percentage or by pixels. If you keep the maintain aspect ratio selected you can only change one value and the other will change with it. Just make sure you choose the save as option so it does not change your original picture. Another good tool for PC users is the snip it tool. If you open that you can take snippets and save them to upload.
  4. I had a few Bill Dance excalibur crankbaits. Now doing a search some show bomber and excalibur on the packages
  5. It's not an infatuation, it is a necessity. When you're fishing 20 feet deep with current being pulled and a 15 MPH wind in your face a 1/2oz wont cut it. Many times I'll fish it up the ledge so I'm actually throwing into 30 feet and dragging/hopping it up the ledge.
  6. this all changes next year as there will only be 2 open divisions with 4 tourneys each. The winners and top 10 in points from each division will fish an opens championship event to determine who will go to the classic. So win and your in, the open championship.
  7. Brandon Card(B.A.S.S Elite series Pro) who lived at Norris Lake growing up, got skunked day1 and only had 3 fish day2. Cant believe how the smallmouth disappear after the spring at that lake. Tourneys in the spring are usually take 20 lbs+ of mostly smallmouth to win. After April you dont see another smallmouth weighed in
  8. My son on the dock during the sunset
  9. Love me some DT 7's, awesome in colder weather or when a slight change is needed.
  10. If you're catching a lot of the leaves/debris with the square bill, you might switch to something like a spinnerbait or a chatterbait. those are a little better at not catching all the debris, but still allow you to present a moving bait. Topwater might also be an option
  11. Get a pair of long nosed pliers, some sort of safety/sunglasses, sunscreen and bug spray
  12. I guess that depends on if they are biting it on the drag or on the drop. I try to fish with as light of a weight as I can, while still maintaining feel on the bottom. I'll use 1/2 ounce most of the time 15 feet or deeper. I'll switch to something heavier if I lose feel or I want to change the rate of fall I'll go up or down with the weights.
  13. My dad would call that a safety pin spinner. Can be used with a variety of different heads and soft plastics.
  14. Hope the water was warm and you enjoyed your little swim!!
  15. I fish Norris lake and since they started dropping the water(past month or so) the bite has gotten tougher. I have not seen the baitfish activity like I was seeing all summer. I've had to go out towards the main channel and fish deeper to get some keeper bites. In the next couple of weeks the baitfish should start heading back into the creeks and the bite will usually start to pick up. The early fall is the toughest time IMO as the fish seem scattered and tough to pattern
  16. When fishing docks or especially laydowns try a bottom weighted senko instead of the normal texas rig. Even on slack line the weight forward design of the texas rig causes it to fall towards you. Using a senko(rigged weedless) that is bottom weighted will allow it to fall away from you deeper into the cover. Now if you have enough weight and the water is shallow enough a texas rig will fall almost straight down with less weight in the senko it will spiral Ike came out with some type of soft plastic that had more salt in the bottom to try and do the same thing. Never tried that though.
  17. Pretty awesome to have a partner that can find the big ones. Especially when the big bass money stays in house!! My wife always catches the bigger bass when we go out, then she calls the ones I catch "cute"
  18. And then you have a big bass beatdown just a few days later!!
  19. Sounds like an awesome night, great job!!
  20. Those are some nice fish!! I had this happen as well but with a 10 lb carp. I set the hook and the line snapped. (I thought I lost the lake monster bass) Tied on another senko and a red hook(I bought into the red hook thing for awhile) made the same cast to the weed edge and bam hooked up again. When I landed him he had one red hook in each side of the mouth and both senkos were still there. Added it to my growing list of I don't understand happened while fishing
  21. My mom lives just down the road and I can tell you it is beautiful in the fall. As far as inside information, I haven't been there to fish in a couple of years. I have caught some decent largemouth and a couple of nice smallmouth there. It's deep and clear. There is an Appalachian trail head that comes out in Hampton and has a nice waterfall at the end. It's about 2 miles in and I would say its a moderate walk. My 70 year old mother walks it a couple times a week.
  22. I'm a bit different as I like the summer for fishing. Early mornings avoiding the heat and tossing topwater
  23. Congrats on the PB for your wife!! Best part of the video .... "I can't fish with you no more" hahahaha thats awesome!!
  24. That is awesome!! I love to hear when hard work is appreciated by employers
  25. Great job on the new PB!!
