Ever accidentally hook a bass?
Seems like the fish had eaten your bait and was swimming towards you.
-
NetBait PAC Craws
They work well t-rigged. The hollow body allows the hook the get into the fish very easily. They have a nice active action because they are hollow too. Not enough plastic to hold well on jigs though. Great baits.

Nrx spinning rod for Carolina rig
That would be a sweet rod for those applications.

Spooling up reels yourself

Daiwa spinning reels for Ned rig.
Fuego LT is a great reel. Smooth with a very smooth drag. Pfleuger supreme in the 30 size too. Also pretty sweet.

Best style of jig for texas rig like hopping the bottom?
All jigs are no good around weeds. Unless you learn to use a swim jig above submerged weeds, you will have a hard time using jigs around weeds. using jigs on bottom when any weeds/slime is around will be frustrating.

Tatula CT vs. New Tatula 100
I think the 150 Tatula is the least talked about Daiwa reel, but one of the best, smoothest, strongest out there.
-
Tatula CT vs. New Tatula 100
The CT series is smoother during retrieve. The 100 may be slightly smaller, but as Shimano1 stated I don't think there is much of a difference in feel.

Daiwa Rods
Check out the Daiwa Tatula Bass rod series. The 6'6" and 6'8" medium are excellent all around rods. Perfect for 1/4-3/8oz baits.
- Best lightweight frog rod between $150-250?

How Many Baits do You Throw in a Day?
I usually go out with these: Jig and craw Swimjig Weightless Worm or Texas Rig with pegged weight depending on lake Frog (or some kind topwater depending on the lakes cover) I usually try all at some point depending on the part of the lake I'm in. Wild card: Ned Rig Shakey Head

Wacky rigging with Zinkerz
True they will float after the salt is gone from them. They are one of my favorite Neko Rig baits. I always use a wacky ring with them when Neko Rigging them and they last for many fish.

Yak rod selection
When I Kayak fished I cut down the handle of my 2 piece 6'6" 1/4-3/4oz St Croix Premier casting rod about 2" and it was perfect. I had a pro finish off the butt end really nice. The handle was always getting in my way. It is a great Kayak rod

St Croix LTB 6'8" with braid to leader
As a reference to any Legend Tournament Bass curious people. I have three fishing trips under my belt trying out 30lb Power Pro to 15lb Seaguar Red Label leader tied with an FG knot. I never tried this rig because I thought the micro guides would be too small to use braid to a leader. I even brought out an extra reel with straight Copoly just incase it didn't work out. I have to say, I have zero issues with it. The line is the same volume coming through the guides as my other rods with standard guides. I keep my joining knot out of the reel, usually between the first two guides when in casting position. Just my 2 cents.

Shimano Casting Reels
If you want an excellent larger capacity reel the Tatula 150 is a fantastic reel.

Daiwa Torx Screwdrivers
You’re right. It’s very special
-
Daiwa Torx Screwdrivers
Again, they can be bought so easily and are used in lots of different things. You said “special tools” would be supplied with the reel. Not in this case.
-
Daiwa Torx Screwdrivers
I disagree. It’s not a special tool. It’s not a proprietary tool specific to that reel. It’s just not a philips or flat bit. Torx are used in all sorts of things from computers, cell phones to bathroom fixtures. Very unspecial...haha Anyone can buy torx drivers at any Home Depot or Amazon these days.
