Braid to Leader for a Multi Purpose Set Up, Thoughts?
30 lb braid to leader would be extremely versatile.
-
Medium or medium heavy?
Those differences is exactly why once I settled on a specific brand all my rods are that brand

Medium or medium heavy?
I like a medium for a lot of treble hook baits, but like said above I can't imagine throwing a spinnerbait or dragging a 3/8 oz jig with a big hook with less than a MH. It can be done but why?

Kayak Helix 7 battery size?
I use an Amped Outdoors 18ah lithium for my 9 inch Garmin with side imaging. I'd say I get at least 14-15 hours usage out of it. The 18ah is plenty small and light enough to fit in the pod of my SS127

Jigs: Boil it down?
I have Arky and swim jigs..........I also have a couple football jigs but never use them despite throwing a jig every single time I fish.
-
Braid use in tinted water
I fish a lot of clear water quarries. I use a lot of braid without a leader. I do all right with that.

Current reel lineup
Most of the time I have seven reels with me, all are Tatula Elite's in various gear ratios.

Favorite colored jig skirt
Brown with some red strands or brown with some purple strands.

What's good bait(s) to throw on a warm windy day?
Crankbait, swim jig/paddletail, chatterbait, buzzbait.
-
Dirty Jigs???
I used nothing but Dirty Jigs until switching to Siebert. No complaints other than I wanted a wire tied skirt.

Your Key Applications With #12 lb. FC Line ?
Crankbaits, jerkbaits, poppers.....

best gear ratio for spinnerbaits and texas rigs
I like something in the 6' for spinnerbaits, something in the 7's for t-rigs. Although in the overall scheme of things I can easily make either work for both.

Is fishing good after a storm
I tend to do better before the rains hit, and during the rain. Less success after the rain. But there are exceptions. There are times when the water rises quite a bit and is all muddied up I do well casting tight to shore.

How do you work a wacky rig?
Cast it out, let it sink, give it a few twitches, let it sink, repeat as you want, reel it in and start over.
-
fishing in the rain
I fish faster and more shallow.

Fishing gear that has surpassed my expectations
I won't be specific on brands but when I first got back into fishing I bought $60-$70 combos and wondered why anyone needed expensive rods. When I bought my first expensive rod I was blown away by the difference in feel and sensitivity. Before anyone chimes in, YES, I know you can catch fish with less expensive gear.

Once again...
My plan for Saturday is now moved to Sunday. I'd prefer to not fish out of my kayak in 25+ mph sustained winds.

How do you break off on purpose?
I get as close as I can to the water entry point then with some slack in the line I wrap the line around something, usually my pliers handle, and give a yank.

TW. Order vs Shipping dates
I wasn't saying it was, I was just pointing out changes. I do believe the incredibly slow time they take actually filling the order is on them though. Considering their actual package and ship times are MUCH slower than anywhere else I order from.
-
Uses of a sensitive baitcasting rod
My jig success went way up when I upgraded to a more sensitive rod. Not only that but I also had less hook sets on weeds and rocks.
-
TW. Order vs Shipping dates
I half believe her,,,,,,,I believe the reduced staff due to CA restrictions. I waited three weeks for four spools of line they had in stock. Also when you used to purchase over $50 the expedited shipping was $5, now it's more than double. TW is the only place I order from that takes that long.

Setup for the Megabass Dark Sleeper
I use 1/2 oz and throw it with a MegaBass OrochiXX SpecR. Tatula Elite reel on 30 lb braid.
-
Greatest lure ever...according to Ike
I'd go with a jig too due to it's ability to be successful in most any conditions and time of year. That being said I'm going out tomorrow and have a jig and a spinnerbait tied on.

Bass size in pond
Not every pond has big bass. That being said I fish 5-6 days a week, mainly lakes and quarries. My biggest bass by far was caught in a 5 acre pond.
