Anyone used Dirty Jigs?  I'm specifically looking at the Dirty Jigs Matt Herren Flippin' jigs.  

 

Also, just out of curiosity, why does it seem like the largest most companies make in flipping jigs is 5/8oz?

I don't have that particular jig but I can tell you that Dirty Jigs make nothing but quality products! I have a few swimbait heads and finesse football jigs, pitchin' jigs. 

I throw the california swim jig and the scott canterbury flippin jig, primarily.  I'm very happy with everything about them and don't look to change anytime soon.

I have a couple of the flipping jigs and have done well with them.  No complaints. 

Good product with lots of design options and colors.  The Canterbury flippin jig is offered in 3/4 ounce.

I like the Herren jig. I drag it a lot more than flip it but it's a good all purpose jig.

I don't have the Matt Herren models, but I have several from Dirty Jigs and they're very solid. If I could have one color of jigs, it would be "The Go To", appropriately named.

 

The Matt Herren model actually looks more like a typical arky head jig, more of an all-purpose jig than a flipping jig. Many similar style arky heads don't come in sizes above 1/2oz, such as the Tour Level Pitching jig which is a fantastic all around jig.

Boss makes a flipping/punching jig that goes up to an ounce and a quarter I believe, it has a very unique shape to it too. I bought some but I still haven’t used them so I really don’t have an opinion on them yet but they look great.

I used nothing but Dirty Jigs until switching to Siebert.  No complaints other than I wanted a wire tied skirt. 

Dirty jigs make IMO the best jigs. The weed guard is soft enough to get good hooksets and they have any color you could want. They are just the best quality jigs on the market. 

Question 1:  Dirty Jigs are my preferred jigs and I haven’t had any styles that I didn’t like.

 

Question 2:  It usually depends on the jig style.  If you want to go above 3/4oz in Dirty Jigs, you can get the punchin’ jig up to 1 1/4oz.
