  1. I lived in Ohio for fourteen years and mainly fished the Cuyahoga River. Now I live down south and can't go ice fishing!
  2. Welcome to Bassresource!
  3. Live bait will definitely work, since it is obviously the most lifelike. Keep at it and good luck. Welcome to Bassresource, by the way!
  4. One of the only frogs I have in my tackle bag!
  5. You know, I think this is all just snake oil... ?
  6. Since crankbaits float, almost all of the crankbaits I own have been found at my local pond. When people break off, the cranks float to the surface and are carried to shore by the current. Free lures! The funny thing is, do people never look down when they fish? I've found them in the most obvious places.
  7. Yep, it does. Unfortunately, it's so small it can only hold ten lures ? Aside from that, I think that it's a decent magazine. I only wish they sent me more!
  8. I use a lefty baitcaster. Never got the hang of casting with my other hand
  9. I've never seen a tube like that but it looks effective!
  10. I found this lure in the water at my local pond. It was covered in algae from head to toe, so I cleaned it up. I don't see any names or labels on the lure, but it walks pretty well. I just want the name so I can get more!
  11. It's kinda strange that I lived in Ohio for *** years and never went ice fishing...
  12. Superline can cut through that. Whenever I see weeds on top, I always pick up a frog!
  13. Welcome to BassResource! I live right on Lake Norman in Mooresville, about forty minutes away from Charlotte.
  14. Before I moved to North Carolina, I would always fish one pond in Ohio. The biggest bass I caught out there was probably about four or five pounds. One of my friends just sent me a picture of him with a 9.12 caught at that pond!
  15. Some old line I have is brittle and will snap. Make sure to test it!
  16. The pond in my area is OVERRUN with turtles. One time I got a backlash and my crank was just sitting in the water. I went to reel my lure back in and somehow I thought I hooked into a log. You know how you can sometimes just pull on a stuck lure and it'll drag the stick to you? I discovered I had hooked into a GIGANTIC turtle- at least forty pounds! Luckily for the turtle, the hook bent and it popped free. Let me tell ya, that turtle could definitely eat a three pounder.
  17. Man, this is an intense conversation.
  18. Welcome to BassResource!
  19. I don't know... Maybe upgrade to a bigger WP? I'm not sure what the biggest size is. But if you're having so much fun catching white bass, then why do you want a change?
  20. When bored on camping trips I'll carve lures. Never managed to stop them from rolling on their sides, though.
  21. Looks good! I usually just use the cheaper open pour molds and trim the excess rubber off.
  22. I live in NC as well and have had luck with spinnerbaits and buzzbaits.
