  1. Join VWVortex forum, it helped tremedously when I owned a Jetta VW, after 4 years it was a love hate relationship, best day I had was selling that fun to drive bucket of bolts.
  2. Now imagine if conditions were ideal! Nice catch.

I reload every year with my neighbor, his favorite skeet gauge is the 28 gauge, he is a great shot, but I can tell you that reloading 28 gauge shells saves you tons compared to 20 and 12! Next time you are at you local sporting goods store look at the price difference! As far as being out gunned, it depends on how the gun fits you and PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!
  4. It would be Ironic if they find some freshwater bass that looked like Jew Fish!
  5. FSU, landed 6 five star recruits and had the highest average player rank per recruit, but only finished 10th overall. I can't wait until we are back on top soon.
  6. I have had Costa's delaminate, but never build moisture in the lens, Send it back to Costa and get a new pair, I love my 580s though.
  7. Fish the A.M. with shiners on outside points adjacent to flats if the wind allows, and fish the evening with artificials searching for a HAWG. Where are you headed exactly West, South, North, East side of Lake?
  8. Peyton built the new Stadium and made Indy who they are since they left Baltimore. Without Peyton there is no new stadium, no Super Bowl in Indy, etc. If his career is truely over then he had a great one, top ten! The organization owes it to him to keep him there and have him retire there in my opinion.
  9. Darn, I must be a push-over since I do three of my hunting buddies taxes every year as well as my sister and her husband's taxes and do my best to answer all questions from people I know and if I can't find an answer I find an accountant or tax lawyer that I work with to answer it for them. As an aside I won't even touch my own taxes I have an accountant do that, 3rd party is always best, plus finance guys and accountants are like oil and water.
  10. My arsenal is all over the place, mostly with technique specific setups with different brand rods and reels, I have favorites, but I think half the fun of bass fishing is trying different equipment and being proficient with all of it. Believe me you can give KVD a Shimano reel and a Shimano rod in the middle of a tourament and he will still be outfishing the rest of the field.
  11. Your argument is flawed. First, I have used it on schooling bass on Lake Okeechobee numerous times and if you read my other post on the subject it did not catch ten times more fish than anything else, was it more productive at times? Yes Your argument hinges on the statement "I has five lures at a time how is that ethical." What is your logic behind this statement? Is it because 5 lures with hooks greatly increases your chances of hooking a fish? If that is the case why not argue that only one of the 5 lures can be have a hook and the rest are hookless acting as a schooling bait ball? No, I am not an Elite Angler, but what does that have to do with it? FLW and even B.A.S.S. Open tournaments with "professional anglers" have not restricted the use of the Umbrella rig or Alabama Rig. FLW states the following: "We believe professional anglers deserve more credit than that. We believe their skill and intuition will not be undercut by a baitfish-imitating technique that helps less experienced anglers catch fish when otherwise they might not. Will it force some pros to elevate their game and adapt? Of course it will. Just like GPS, side-imaging sonar, sight-fishing, shallow-water anchors and countless lure, line and rod innovations have done over the years. Buzzbaits and ChatterBaits were once considered radical, as were flipping and sight-fishing. But they are all simply tools of the trade now. The same will hold true for Alabama Rigs. It’s not the end of fishing as we know it." I would also like an apology for insinuating that I am either a liar or crazy, maybe not the crazy part. You can disapprove of people's opinion, but using the public forum to slander is classless in my opinion.
  12. I guess he'll be joining Billy then in a job search, don't see how those guys can survive the locker room and media coverage afterwards.
  13. They are not mutually exclusive, as stated, so you can accomplish both feats!
  14. Guess you guys will be doing the same, why the heck did you have to let some New Yorkers represent? Its amazing what the 49ers accomplished in a year with a competent head coach!
  15. Who is on the sauce? Both games, could have gone either way though, would have loved to see if the 49ers could have advanced the ball past third down, too bad the return punt was muffed. I also believe the Ravens had a touchdown pass at the end of the game to win it, nevertheless Billy Cundiff had a chance to send it to overtime and pulled an FSU. I bet Billy will not be around next year! Hope the Superbowl is as exciting to watch as the divisional champion games were, but I doubt it, Patriots win big as predicted.
  16. He is now officially dead. I hope that he will be remembered for what he truly was and that his legend will not be tainted longterm by "what's his name."
  17. http://www.flwoutdoo...s-monster-mash/ Below is a pick taken by FLW photographer, Rob Newell, of Medlock holding two nice bass with the 10 1/2 lb hawg held by tournament director Ron Lappin
  18. In my opinion, although the guy is most likely a genius, but he was such a megalomaniac that it sent him to prison. Hope he can take those cars with him to jail so he can drive around the yard! The internet has created an unusual circumstance where people who are total strangers are willing to "share" or give intellectual or creative property to others, by receiving some in-turn. Therefore, the existing business models that were in place prior to the Web, are not able to cope, so laws and business adapts to stop the fiscal bleeding, unfortunately this creates a Wild West atomoshpere where instead of Billy the Kid you have Kim "Dotcom" types running around the globe.
  19. In the end he'll get caught, can you say Megalomania.
  20. Too funny, that is a momma's good choir boy there!
  21. That's what keeps me coming back to spots, time after time, BERTHA lives and you saw her!
  22. BIG'UN!
  23. Always go with a BIGGER boat, I am sure you can have them meet you halfway or try to bring down the cost so its within your range. Also, I know that a new boat is tempting and nothing beats the feeling, smell, and knowing that only you used it, but for that kind of COIN you can get some boats that are just as good or maybe better than Nitro with equivalent and better accesories still under warranty.
  24. Nothing like being on the water and having something with a clean title under your feet!
