I tried to challenge myself once, the challenge was how many reels I could buy before my girlfriend finds out... previous record was 3, this time I got it up to 4 but boy was she mad. Final verdict... worth it.

Look at Honda with the civic. I think that it's kind of smart on daiwas end, people want the tatula so they gave them more tatulas. Ya they are ranging from 100-300 bucks, but they can cover a whole lot of ground that way. People will always buy what they know, until it blows up in their face.

Stumbled upon a guy fishing a quiet little spot I fish. He pulled a 4lber out and dropped it... multiple times ? sad day for that fish. Safe to say my quiet spot isnt so quiet anymore. Trash, beer bottles, cans and buds scattered all over the place now, yup even in the water.

I like how it flows so smoothly, not having EVA or cork is a really nice touch. You really can feel everything throughout the whole handle. Also it looks pretty sexy.

I already got 2 of the rods from a friend of mine that has a source. They are incredible rods, way lighter then the old zodias rods. I felt that the old model was a little too heavy on a few in the line up. The new ones balance amazingly and they feel like the old poison rods felt.

Its black and green, guys are acting like its black, orange, green, blue and pink ? Im picking one up, hopefully I can still get some bites dispite it not matching any of my rods.

Just got mine. Does anyone else have a bit of back play in the handle. Even with the drag tightened down.

Check the parts diagram online to make sure there was a spring there first. Also is the line digging into the spool? Reel also looks like it could use a cleaning, add a tiny drop of oil at the end of both sides of the spool shaft.

Just get them to send another spacer or shim it out a bit.

It wasn't my reel, I was replacing the frame of the revo x for a friend of mine. He dropped a box on the reel and the frame cracked. I cant comment on the others.

I just swapped out a revo x frame, old one said made in Korea, new one said made in China.

My slx xt reels feel awesome, super easy to palm, they have a good size handle for the size of the reel that it is, also you cant been shimanos knobs. I sold my 2 tat ct reels after getting the 2 slx xt reels. Just a more solid and smooth feeling reel frame wise and performance wise as well.

Ya, seems like a pretty weak drag but whatever, that can always be upgraded!

Has anyone else notice that you practically have to have your drag cranked down to get any real drag pressure? Or is it just my two reels? I did notice they were heavily greased when I opened them up.

Looks like you spooled that reel up with a lot of line. Anyway you can open up the reel? Hows that fancy magseal bearing feel?

Zodias rods are great as well, they look and feel great.

Great reel, if you are in need of a 7 speed reel, this is a great choice. I think theres just missing a bearing or two over the curado I and that's the only difference. I had both and they fished identically.

The Abu Garcia grease is ? IMO. Doesn’t last long. I moved onto super lube because it’s what I use on elevators and have had good experiences with it and so far it works great. It doesn’t wear down as fast as the abu poo poo. Also using shims is drag grease and that stuff is awesome!
