I love my inline spinners man, best setup for me is on a m/f 6'10ish casting with either light braid or fluorocarbon. Produces a good amount of fish for me. I do throw them on a 7' ml/f spinning rod with 12lb braid if ive got it on hand but I prefer them on casting gear more. I've started to install swivels on the front of my own inlines because I notice they twist up the braid from time to time, works great for getting rid of it.

Manual says that setting 1 is the least about of braking, 2 is generally for braided line and mono, 3 if for fluorocarbon and 4 is for the most amount of braking out of the 4 settings.

My buddy has a few, beautiful rods. He said this about his... Tell Him the 7' Mh evergreen glass is a fantastic rod. Sensitive and you feel every little bump even the grass.

If you wanna see an overfished body of water, come to toronto and go a half hour to an hour in any direction. During the weekends man you'll be lucky if you can find a spot to fish that hasent been slammed hard nonstop. Bass season doesnt mean a thing around here anymore and the ministry doesnt have nearly enough support to be able to handle all the people catching and keeping whatever bites. Its disgusting...

Why spend extra money on a salt water reel if you will never fish salt. Why not get the same reel that we already know is great without the added protection from salt for less.

I can’t really comment on the cast abilities between the reels but Daiwa sure does make a smooth reel even the low end LT reels feel crazy smooth for the price. I’m sure they didn’t hold anything back with the new vanford, seemed like daiwa was leading the pack for fresh water spinning reels.

I've have lots of reels with slight back play when the drag is completely loosened of, fine when tightened. Possibly some play due to a loose drag stack and some oil in AR bearing?
