I fished a two day tournament this weekend and it was HOT. I did manage to take second place with a weight of 21.96. Just remember to dress appropriate and drink plenty of liquids. ( No Beer ) ;D

I've been checked 13 times on the same body of water and most of the time by the same two wardens. They check everything including boarding my boat and taking my fish out and measuring them. I have got to the point that I think it's Harassment or Profiling. I only see them checking Bass fishermen. One more check and I do intend on contacting the NC Wildlife Commission. They also use a Golden Rule to check the fish with and those things are bout as accurate as I am at spelling, they bend real easy and will make you have a short fish in a heart beat. I always just lay my Gator Board on the deck and tell them to use mine. >

I'm 54 and just got my Speak & Spell for Christmas this year. I have been real proud of myself lately, I have gone from using one finger to using two fingers typing.

Heck the guy jumped out a three story window, I fell off the back porch and looked worst than that. ;D

I have caught a lot of fish on the Sweet Beaver, I use a 6.6 Allstar M/H with 17 lb Stren and a 4/0 X-Point hook and 3/16 weight. I very seldom miss a fish. I'm thinking Line, But then again I use the Red line also at times. It could be small fish that you are losing.

How much did those five fish weigh Randall ? 22.9 my guess I tried some swim baits about 10 years ago and never caught anything on them. They were by ( Storm Baits ) I went and bought a $40.00 one and used it the other day but no takers, I can't recall the name on this one but it looks good in the water.

I'm not going to worry about this anymore, Life is to short. What I have worried about all these years is how do they know how much sugar ( or what ever they use ) to put on Frosted Flakes ? You fill a small bowl and it's sweeten just right, fill a big bowl and it's sweeten just right. So how the heck do they know ?

Most of the time if I get skunked it will be when my boat breaks down or something like that.
