Nice fish! That big blue gill was definately not getting away the way it was hooked!

Nice fish! The water temp. here is about 45 and the bass still dont bite.

I hate gill hooking fish too! If they're bleeding heavily they will probably die and that's a shame! I usually still release them and give 'em a chance. They might just survive. It hurts me to release injured fish. I gill hooked quite a few last spring and released them all and i must say i never saw a dead bass around. I also caught quite a few bass deep in the throat and i allways cut the line and leave the hook. Alot of those bass i caught again with the hook still in their throat! So, hooking them deep is not so much of a problem, just cut the line and dont try to yank out the hook. I dont eat fish, but gill hooked fish should be harvested. I know you guys are gong to think a "fisherman that doesn't eat fish?"" but that's me!

I dont really like the Real Vib from lucky craft. I never get the darn thing to run the way i want. Very nice finish and all but it doesn't run right.

I hate fishing with strong wind but the fish seem to like it. I usually do alot better on days like this especially with north wind.

Never throw your stuff away! If you can't use it sombody else will! Just put a new tip on it and send it to me! LOL

Sizmic and horny toads are very good! Wave worms also makes a pretty good frog. I use them weightless or t-rigged with a 1/8 weight when the fishing is slow. Great spring bait.

I'm sure this has been asked before but do guys use a trailer on your spinnerbait, if so, what kind? If not, why? Are you better off using no trailer if you want your spinnerbait deep? Thanks for the input!

I allways use snaps! Depending on the size of lure your using you should use a size 0 to a size 3 snap. I find it's alot quicker to change lures.
