  1. It's in Switzerland. Here's another where I'm freezing my butt (which you can see by the expression in my face) with 30mph winds. I did really well in winter. There were days I got nothing and then others where I caught over 10 fish. You can see snow on the mountains in the background. Like I said, catching fish in the cold months is really rewarding!
  2. I don't like the Storm soft baits but the suspending hard baits work well. We caught quite a few bass and walleye with them in spring.
  3. Pretty fish! Congrats!
  4. Congrats! Buzzbaits are alot of fun! I'm jealous!
  5. Nice fish like allways Dan! What topwater lure is that which you caught the gill with?
  6. Sounds like alot of fun! Congrats!

  8. This is what I do but finding the fish can be difficult! Once you do and the bite is on, hold on! Where you catch one bass you can be sure there are more around. I take up to ten minutes on a cast which can be difficult while you're freezing your butt off. At times you won't even feel the bite just a slight movement of the line. I usually wait a bit longer to set hook then alot of times the bass just pick up the bait and don't suck it in. I find it very rewarding catching bass in winter! Winter bass:

  10. Glad to be back! I really missed this site!
  11. T-rigs will definately work. I have been catching on dropoffs near shore mostly where there is shade and cover. If you have floating docks over deep water, try fishing there! Strange enough I've been catching quite a few on a LC Pointer, mostly smaller fish but at least you entertain yourself. Also try this bait: Lucky Craft Flat CB D-20.
  12. I also would try some walk the dog type topwaterbaits and shallow cranks.
  13. Try some larger baits. Big spinnerbaits if you can get through the weeds if not some large topwaters like the LC Sammy 128.

Any of you guys still use the long-A's? What sizes and colors do you use? Thanks!

Yep, they even work in summer with a straight retrieve and the odd jerk.
  16. T-rig, how do those hooks effect the action? They do NOT effect the action in any way.

Great fish, congrats! Fishing here is real slow due the heat. A coldfront can work wonders!
  18. Great fish! Congrats on the PB!
  19. I replace them with size 6 owner ST-36 trebles.
  20. Cool video and great average on the fish! Did guys get any dinks? I wish the average fish had that size around here!
  21. Very nice fish! Congrats!
  22. Use some large flyrod poppers and you will get some good size fish. Catching 2-3lb. bass on a flyrod can be alot of fun!
  23. Great fish! Congrats on the PB!
  24. This happens to all of us! Just keep at it, the fish will bite again sooner or later.
