Don't think I noticed this in anyone's reply. When you set the line on the floor, run the line through all the eyes on your rod. Put some pressure on the line while reeling it in. Make a few turns with the handle. Drop the tip of your rod down towards the spool of line. If it kinks up, turn the line spool over. I have a Symetre and it sounds like you have too much line on ... skillet

Robert, if you are thinking American, could I recommend one? An original Ford Cobra (not a kit car ) with the 289 High Performance. Personally, don't know why they changed to a 427. Too much engine for that size car. I know, I know, there was a time that I didn't think you could have too much engine. Probably the only Ford I ever wanted to own ... skillet

Don't know how Arizona LMB would do against such competition. The ones here in the South seem to be doing quite well, thank you. There are eleven states that make up the "South". All of these great states have record holders above 15lbs, except TN (14.8 close). Maybe you're just going through an adjustment period. You know, just moving here and everything.
