  1. What! Best sequential series in movie history. I hope this one measures up. 8-)
  2. Congratulations! 8-)
  3. I've been waiting for that! ;D ;D ;D

  5. Here ya go: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1186055966 http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1189257450 8-)
  6. By George Welcome, professional guide Let's get technical, as there are in fact reasons, not just some lame holdover from days past that put the handles where they are. What will move the fish during retrieval is placed to the strong hand! A baitcast is designed to be used as a winch, so it is the reel that retrieves the fish. Hence if you are right handed the handle is in your right hand. A spinning reel is designed to pick up unloaded or loose line, not retrieve the fish. Hence it is the rod that does the retrieval, so it is the rod that is in your strong hand. If you are right handed then the pole goes to the right hand.
  7. Reel Magic is basically a silicone spray. KVD Line & Lure Conditioner bonds with the line, is water based, performs well as both a lubricant and memory eliminator. After using the KVD you will never go back to the Magic. 8-)
  8. Quachita is huge, clear and mostly wilderness. You can spend your entire time there. The bass fishing can be good, but the lake is really noted for striper. Spending your first day with a guide would be my primary recommendation. p.s. I caught my PB spot on this lake...4 1/2 lbs! 8-)
  9. Hat's off to Ole Miss! I know they beat Florida, but I'm still surprised they beat Texas Tech... 8-)
  10. Bull Shoals is your best bet. If you are looking for a guide, this is THE MAN: http://www.hotdawgguideservice.com/ 8-) 8-)
  11. Tennessee State Record was caught in Sugar Creek by James Barnett October 17, 1954: 14 pounds 8 ounces. I have no idea where this creek is located. More importantly, the State Record smallmouth was landed by David Hayes at Dale Hollow July 9, 1955. David's fish was certified at a whopping 11 pounds 15 ounces and is also, The World Record Smallmouth. As a side note, Dale Hollow shares a common border with Kentucky. Mr. Hayes also holds the State Record for Kentucky which also lays claim to the World Record. This has never been a big dispute and will never be resolved. Both states have agreed to claim and share the title. 8-)
  12. Here's another option: http://www.***.com/descpageRLCSHIMANO-SHCSF50.html This is an exceptional reel at a great price. 8-)
  13. I meant at least IMX. Mine is a GLX and you'll like it, too! And yes...it's worth the extra dough. ;D ;D ;D
  14. The rod is a 10/10, but buy the IMX series. This is what separates G. Loomis from the pretenders. The rod can handle Mattlures Baby Bass (1.3 oz) without stress. For me, this is my dedicated jig rod. 8-)
  15. Dude...STOP! We have too many Texans that would know about this first... The internet is vast and this story is nowhere to be found. Even if the story were out there, it's a blatant lie. This is what 25.1 lbs looks like: http://sports.espn.go.com/outdoors/fishing/news/story?page=f_fea_bass_world-record_Weakley_25.1
  16. Still 1st Quarter... Utah 21, Alabama -0-
  17. Oops! I should have looked, too. envi3d, Let's move on. Don't repost on this thread. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator
  18. Two-way tie: Cavitron Buzzbait and 10" Rage Tail Anaconda 8-)
  19. Nice bowl win. CONGRATULATIONS! 8-)
  20. Well done!
  21. 22. T-rig, weedless like any other soft plastic. This can also be done with inserted weights, not jig heads. 8-)
