  1. I think Mike's point suggests that if you want to be taken seriously, correct spelling, basic grammar, punctuation and capitalization is in order. If you don't care, a lot of people just skip over anything you might have to say. 8-)
  2. Welcome aboard! Report back on how you like the line after fishing it awhile. Most people have issues with Fireline and think it is some of the worst line they have ever used. It's actually a "superline", not braid. :
  3. Rapala X-Rap and Countdown, both rainbow trout pattern. 8-)
  4. Probably ought to discuss that over a glass or two of whiskey. 8-)
  5. Drove by his ranch a couple of times at Lake Fork. It's good to be him! 8-)
  6. Well, in an earlier post on this thread, this a question I alluded to. Most of us consider a Senko a different class lure, a "stick bait". If the Senko were considered a "worm", then I agree. The 6" Senko is my all-time #1 bait. 8-)
  7. Take LBH with you and after the meal, buy him a double cheeseburger and a chocolate malt to go! :
  8. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  9. Check with Craig DeFronzo, earthworm77: http://micromunchjigs.homestead.com/Directory.html 8-)

  12. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  13. That's a close call, I'm glad you caught a break! 8-)
  14. That's the point: You can't "store" them. Trap some bait the day or night before you plan to use them. Long-term storage is not a viable option. 8-)
  15. GYCB "Kahuna", 6 1/2" Kut Tail http://***/cgi-bin/order/7X-10 8-)
  16. Forum FAQs/ Guidelines PLEASE READ (often) http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?virboard=Fishing_Tackle_ID;num=1133376419 This thread is closed. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator
  17. Didn't invent the Smithwick Floating Rogue, but perfected its presentation! 8-)
  18. Well, it wouldn't cost that much! A trip to Falcon, Amistad, Toledo Bend or Stick Marsh/ Farm 13 might do it if you put in enough time. 8-)
  19. For smaller swimbaits like the Baby Bass, a MH or Heavy Baitcaster will work. I have no problems using a St. Croix EC70MHF rated for 1 oz lures. However, I am careful to lob the bait so that the stress is spread through the rod, not focused exclusively on the tip. For a heavier lure, different equipment would be required. 8-)
  20. I've heard it said that there are three seasons in Houston, summer, July and August! :
  21. I am sorry to hear of your loss.
  22. ;D ;D ;D Nice fish, great pic! 8-)
