  2. Spend some time in the BassResource.com Library, "Fishing Articles" at the top of the page. There are several to choose from and links to others. This is a sample: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/spinnerbait_fishing.html 8-)
  3. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  4. I would keep the fish and work with the best taxidermist in the country. I would like to have replicas that were perfectly weighted and removable to get the full essence of the fish. I would get together with Thomas Kincade to paint the replicas, produce a limited addition of 1000 mounts and sell them for $10,000 each! I would keep the skin mount and donate it to the Smithsonian Institute in my will. As long as we're dreaming, I would rather it be brown, not green!
  5. Looks like you had a big time. Congratulations! 8-)
  6. Welcome aboard! If I only had one baitcaster it would be the G.Loomis MBR844C. The IMX series is fine. Pick up a reel on our Flea Market, there are great deals their all of the time. The Shimano Chronarch 50Mg would complete the perfect combo! Good luck! 8-)

  9. I bought 4 out of 5 of my St. Croix rods at 30%-50% off. My Fenwick Techna AV AS70MM at 40% off. You just have to be patient and look for a deal. My deals were not "special", they were all available to the general public. 8-)
  10. Man, maybe George Welcome will see this and correct my reply. As I recall from one of his posts, an "average" on a fertile lake was something like 300-400 lbs, but Stick Marsh/ Farm 13 is 800 lbs! 8-)
  11. That good news! I am glad you got it worked out. 8-)
  12. I posted this on a current thread a little while ago: Zara Puppy, silver & black (black shiner) I don't fish this lure anymore, it just attracts too many little fish. I promise you, your wife will like it! http://www.lurenet.com/productDetail.aspx?id=4807 I would also suggest giving the Fat Ika a try. It's still my #1 soft plastic. 8-)
  13. Russ fishes both, but I think he prefers spinning tackle, too. 8-)
  14. Can't tell much about the fish, but I bet the picture weighs 3 lbs! Congratulations, great catch! 8-)
  15. Seems to be missing a tail. Around 7 lbs. Nice fish! 8-)
  16. If one of your buddies has a deep frier, just put it in with the bird! That should cover all the bases.

  20. The same guy invented the thermos bottle: You pour in something cold and it stays cold. If you pour in hot, it stays hot. How do it know?
