Yes sir! You can get bit, but there are better alternatives. 8-)

Hmm... I'm not sure that's possible. :

furthest casting reel
Catt has won 7 casting championships. As I recall, it's all about the MAN and the rod. I think Catt uses a Shimano TE 300. 8-)

What to look for in a plastic bait rod?
Welcome aboard! I fish a 7' spinning rod, but there is really no fundamental difference. Medium Power or MH Power/ Fast Action in a baitcaster or spinning rod is all you need. 8-)

2009 Road Trip
Well, maybe if we bribe the Texans they will show. How 'bout Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboy's cheerleaders! It will be like an "away game". 8-)

Guaranteed To Catch Bass
You will have to wait until it warms up a bit. These baits fished as I described work best in relatively shallow water and higher water temperatures. When "spring" arrives in your area, the Senko and Fat Ika will work for you, too. 8-)

buzzbait newbie
The Cavitron Buzzbait is what I recommend. It has a unique chirping sound and the lure comes on plane immediately. I have had great succes with the 1/2 oz black on black. They are a BassResource.com sponsor, too! http://www.cavitronlures.com/ 8-)

Okay, so what about Toyota Tundra's ???
I drive a Toyota Sequoria, my daughter has the Rav4, my partner has his second Tundra, his son the first and his daughter another. I have never heard a complaint against Toyota cars and trucks. It seems to me, they have set the new standard for performance and durability. If you can find a deal you are comfortable with, you will be very happy with the vehicle. 8-)

Crawfish - when to NOT use them?
Not a season so much, but at times. When bass seem to be totally focused on baitfish, "moving" lures work much better. The "bottom bite" is not always on, especially early in the day. I prefer something else in low light. 8-)

The Value of Big Bass
15.5 is an impressive fish, but if you caught it in Virginia, even more so. The fact that the BassResource.com members that are able to catch these monsters always release them is a credit to our group. Kudos to you, Possum! BTW, Welcome aboard! 8-)

Abu Revo vs Curado... Why the Difference in Bearings?
It's not the number of bearings that is important, it's the quality. Over the years, Shimano reels have proven to hold up very well. All of my older equipment is as smooth or smoother today than the first day I used them. I have recently received the Revo STX as a gift, but have only fished it a few times. Everyone that has a Revo seems to like them very much. I'm sure you will like whichever reel you decide to buy. 8-)

Buffalo During The Spawn
A few of our fish were foul-hooked which made them twice as big! The only fish we actually weighed was a little shy of 16 lbs, but most of them were pretty close to that weight. My biggest thrill of the day was a hybrid caught on a Slender Pointer. I knew from the get-go that it wasn't a buffalo and was pretty sure I had a fine smallie on, but it turned out not to be the case. 8-)
