  1. My favorite day was 15 smallmouth, 8 over 5lbs. I have caught more fish and bigger fish, but never had a better combination of both size and quantity.
  2. Geez... The Fat Ika is #2 behind the Senko. https://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/lake-guntersville-2012.html (7.49 lbs)
  3. I have only seen a handful of the carp and have not heard of any impact on the fishing.
  4. Kentucky Lake for both size and quantity. I will get back with you on a recommended guide service.
  5. Well, I fished with hotdawg the first week of June during the high water period in 2008. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bull_Shoals_Lake#Flooding_of_2008 We caught fish for 2 1/2 days on Baby Diaper Yellow Gitzits. I would HIGHLY recommend hiring Tim! https://hotdawgguideservice.com/ p.s. Maybe we could get together for a trip this spring. I will set it up if you are interested.
  6. When I lived in Denver we fished Pueblo for both largemouth and smallmouth. https://cpw.state.co.us/placestogo/parks/LakePueblo
  7. Well, if you fish everyday you're bound to catch a pre-spawn fish.
  8. Trailering is a BIG issue. It's a two man job just to get hooked up. Then you have put-in and take-out which is VERY challenging for one old man.
  9. "Baby Diaper Yellow" has been around forever. The tube pictured is a smallmouth killer!
  10. As I have gotten older, the "floating dock" became a better option. My pontoon fits me and my fishing partners like a glove! I co-own the boat with my friend at Pickwick and he has indoor storing capacity. The cost of ownership and maintenace is low.
  11. Thick cut bologna, sharp cheddar, mustard & dill pickles plus a shot or two of Tabasco sauce. Being a health nut, I like mine on thick white Wonder Bread. Prefer a side of macaroni salad, but potato chips will do . Original flavor Gatorade to wash it down. Twinkies for desert.
  12. I like the 3" as a trailer, the 4" on a Jika Rig.
  13. I specifically do not put one on my custom builds. Maybe it's just me, but I don't like them.
  14. Please post the link. -Kent
  15. We have four small lakes just an hour south of Memphis that have produced World Records and consistently produce 3 & 4lb crappie, both black and white. 17. I recently purchased the Stradic 1000S JDM instead of the Vanford, mostly because it looks better to me!
  18. So nothing is really comparable, but that's okay with you... It's your choice and that's okay with me, too.
  19. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
  20. My primary presentation is the MegaTube Craw https://www.megastrike.com/product-page/mega-tube-crawdad
