  1. Good night Irene.
  2. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/12/08/astronaut-and-former-us-senator-john-glenn-dies-at-95.html http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2016/12/08/oliver-north-john-glenn-had-all-right-stuff.html SALUTE!
  3. I don't follow this line of reasoning...pv/2 = t+e
  4. Big O recommends the Moaner Stroker 1/4 oz weighted hook: http://moanerhooks.com/product/the-weighted-stroker/ I think he might be on to something... However, I also like the Buck Eye J-Will: http://www.buckeyelures.com/
  5. At 6 & 6 it's a little late to "run the table".
  6. "Just Getting Started"Guaranteed To Catch BassI just cant catch bassLearning to fish on your own
  7. Water flow effects all fishing, regardless of your exact location on the system. For the most part you cannot detect current in the middle of an impoundment, but it impacts the entire food chain. Here is one memorable example: http://www.basszone.com/elite-series/2011-season/pickwick-lake/m.blog/131/davy-hite-the-current-champion
  8. Threadfin shad begin to fade at 45* followed by massive die-off at 42*. It's a good time of year for seagulls! Fortunately these baitfish are quite prolific and under the right conditions can spawn three times in one year. The Tennessee River never freezes and water temperature has no impact on the smallmouth bite...Current dominates everything.
  9. Well, I'm still planning on the tournament circuit if you are still good-to-go.

  11. I have the same reel. I would suggest either having someone you trust take a shot at opening it for you or send it to Mike at DVT. http://www.delawarevalleytackle.com/ It could be defective, but I HIGHLY doubt that is actually the case.
  12. FIRMLY push the plate down, counter clockwise. The brakes are already on the inside. Unlike all other Shimano baitcasting reels, the plate comes off this model.
  13. Although this is not my most productive technique, jerkbaits are my favorite lures to fish. I am REALLY going to try using some of my 10 year old lures that have only `seen water in my swimming pool! I would estimate using no more than a dozen different jerkbaits over the years, the other 100 or so are still "on deck".

Seems perfectly natural to me. Music can be distracting at times.
  15. #1 Soft plastics (mostly Rage Tail and GYCB) #2 Jigs (exclusively Siebert Outdoors) #3 Jerkbaits (my favorite collection) #4 Crankbaits #5 Spinnerbaits and Bladed Jigs
  16. Use braid to a fluorocarbon leader. I used to fish straight fluorocarbon but switched to this the past fishing season and it works great. But I also have my main smallmouth rig spooled up with #4 Yo-Zuri Hybrid.
  17. St. Croix Avid AVC66MF with a soft tip.
  18. Well, the Keitech Swing Impact Fat has been a great bait for me for several years, but once you fish the Rage Tail Swimmer you will probably fish it exclusively.
