  1. Back in the day Dallas fielded some mighty impressive teams, but none of those "franchise teams" ever won 10 in a row. Hats off to the 2016 Dallas Cowboys!

I can confirm that rumor, but it is still in quarantine.
  3. CONGRATULATIONS!
  4. Shimano Calcutta or specifically the CTE200GT is what I have been fishing for more than a decade. The reel is as good or better than the first day out of the box!
  5. Never had a double nor a single fish on the outside arms. BTW, The Rig is also the #1 presentation for stripers!
  6. Strong, silent and reliant. I have been VERY happy with Shimano over the years. Recently I acquired a Daiwa Alpha, my first ever of this brand. I have been VERT impressed.
  7. I think Sufix 832 might be most resistant, but my preference is Gliss with a leader.
  8. You will be VERY impressed.
  9. When your parents pass away, YOU become the "old people".
  10. That is a fine reel. Treat yourself to a spool of #12 Tatsu...Problem solved!
  11. 1) The Hybrid casts well and is easy to pick out the inevitable backlashes, but it seems really weak. I have been using it for a while now on one of my finesse spinning combos with no issue, but it seems to break all the time when on the casting reel. Strangely, a large number of the breaks are far from the knot, often 30-60' into the line. Yesterday I had maybe 30' break off during a cast and today I bombed a lure maybe 60' out, then when I went to give the line a tug to tighten the spool, it snapped right below where I held it. I suspect that my constant tugging to tighten the spool is weakening the line, but I fish with my break really really loose (trying to train myself to keep my thumb on the spool during the retrieve and hook-set) and I am stop and pick out any time it wants more pressure then I can give with two fingers. Does this sound like the likely cause of my break-offs? The break-offs are caused by the weak spots that are created by kinks in the line when you backlash. I suggest trying a different line such as Izorline, P-Line or InvizX.
  12. No. I bought the 100 when it first came out and the 50 when it was introduced. Have yours cleaned just because you don't know how old the reels and lubricants really are or maybe wait until next year if they seem perfect right now.
  13. Try tying a variety of knots to find one you like. Just remember this: "If it ain't perfect, it ain't good enough".

Glenn & Keri are actually Bronco fans!
  15. I fish Siebert Outdoors exclusively: http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/Swim-Jigs_c10.htm For trailers i like the Rage Tail Menace, Structure Bug and Shellcracker.
  16. You don't need to bring anything if you would like to fish with mine, I will have some variety for you to choose from. -Kent
  17. Halle was originally a quarry. When it was acquired by Collierville they filled in the outer rim so the shoreline did not drop off 50' or so. Still, the middle of the lake is VERY deep. You will notice fish breaking out in the middle where the shad swim in a big circle around the center. Most of the bass that we catch are visiting shallow water on occasion, but do not live there,
  18. Yes, Halle is a city park. There are some monsters in this lake, but it is VERY hard to fish.
