  1. Pick your poison You will not be disappointed.
  2. If you plan to fish crankbaits a lot, you should get a dedicated rod. If you just throw them occasionally, it's not necessary. http://www.bassresource.com/fishing_lures/perfecta-lte.html
  3. The fact is that you are going to lose baits and lures fishing from shore. Your best bet is to fish soft plastic rigged weedless. You will still hang-up and occasionally lose a bait, but the cost is relatively low.
  4. Try the Rage Tail Toad, you might be surprised!
  5. Rage Tail Baby Craw Rage Tail Menace BPS Tender Tube #71 Sworming Hornet/ LFT Live Magic Shad LC Pointer, Megabass Ito Vision 110 and/or McStick jerkbaits
  6. That sums it up pretty much for me, too. But I'll play along and pick two: Baitcasting: G. Loomis GLX MBR842C/ Core 50Mg Spinning: St. Croix Legend Elite LES70MF/ Stella 2500FB
  7. Include a half dozen in my order! -Kent
  8. I don't think this is generally the case at all. As a specific example, pouring and assembling your own jigs probably requires a hundred jigs or more to break even if you assign $0 for your time. This certainly can be fun, but not "cost effective".
  9. Pocket Rocket: 3 oz bell weight & large paper clip as a lure retriever. About a 95% success rate!
  10. For all treble hooks I recommend Sunline Shooter Defier Armilo #12. http://www.sunlineamerica.com/shooter-defier-armilo/
  11. It ain't over 'till the Fat Girl sings, but Bama be bad! I will be surprised if they don't run the table.
  12. My preference is finesse, but I'm geared up and comfortable with power fishing.
  13. I am in! PM sent
  14. I fish Siebert Outdoors exclusively. They are delivered "ready to fish". My swim jigs are also custom built by Siebert Outdoors. I have Mike NOT add the weed guard to the jighead. And although I'm sure the fish don't care, I DO like my swim jigs with "eyes".
  15. I would like to prefect my pitching, improving both distance and accuracy.
  16. I rig The Bug horizontal on the Rage Blade, vertically as a swim jig trailer. Another trailer I REALLY like for swim jigs is the Rage Tail Shellcracker (vertical).
  17. I don't recall anyone commenting on these lines, but TW is virtually giving it away so I ordered a couple of different spools. Anyone have experience with the line?
  18. For me: Rage Tail Structure Bug, J-rigged Siebert Outdoors Jigs/ Rage Tail Baby Craw, Craws & Lobsters Fat Ika Rage Blade/ Rage Structure Bug trailer Norman Fat Boy (Redear pattern) The Rig Senko Rage Tail Thumper (purple) Sworming Hornet/ LFT Live Magic Shad BPS Tender Tube (#71) Megabass Ito Vision 110 Megabass PopMax MegaStrike MegaTube Craw MegaStrike Strikeback Spinnerbait (white) Strike King Red Eye Shad (blue chrome) Rage Tail Cut-R GYCB Kut-Tail/ MegaStrike ShakE-2
  19. Rage Tail Structure Bug exclusively, J-rigged.
  20. CONGRATULATIONS!
  21. Chiefs vs The Defending World Champions tomorrow. Should be a great defensive game for two teams without a quarterback!
