  1. Although my favorite technique is the jerkbait, over the years my best producer has been the Gitzit (baby diaper yellow). Next would be the Fat Ika, followed by the Sworming Hornet. Next is a GYCB Kut Tail rigged on the ShakE2. Last year a Siebert Outdoor Grid Iron Jig (3/8 oz PBJ)/ Rage Tail Craw (PBJ) and most recently the Rage Tail Menace:
  2. Two National Championships and perhaps, at least on paper, the best back-up in the NFL: http://espn.go.com/blog/afcnorth/post/_/id/87358/aj-mccarrons-first-playoff-game-for-bengals-gets-off-to-sloppy-start There is just not enough talent to go around at the quarterback position.
  3. You're right, 10 -12 might be a better range..

  5. NASCAR fields 43 cars, but only 10 - 15 are in the hunt, the rest are just filler. There are 32 teams in the league. How many "NFL Quality" quarterbacks are there? Maybe 20? http://espn.go.com/nfl/qbr

  14. Well, if it's fluorocarbon I recommend Tatsu, but I don't think that is the best option for treble hooks in general and crankbaits in particular. My suggestion is Sunline Shooter Defier Armilo. http://www.sunlineamerica.com/shooter-defier-armilo/
  15. Yeah, I bought a couple for $7 and then they moved them to another spot and lowered the "closeout" to $4.98.
  16. As an alternative give the Rage Tail Menace a shot. They have been killer for me!
  17. Rooting for KC and the Bengals today. Who's your pick?
  18. The most basic difference is a lack of casting brakes on a conventional reel. These are generally used for trolling and vertical jigging for saltwater applications.
  19. My favorite C&W song of all time!
