  1. They are trying to get rid of clothes right now. What I have found are random "closeout" prices are everyday tackle. Recently I picked up a couple of McSticks for $4.98. Sunline Sniper regularly $29.99 on sale for $14. The closeout pricing is simply a marketing ploy for this company, the specific mechandise is rarely discontinued. The point is, stop by often and see what they have because it is not necessarily advertised.
  2. Maybe Raul has some scientific input, but my observation is that most prey are specific to a region and are mixed. Throughout most of the country crawfish are a mainstay. In the Mid South threadfin shad represent the largest biomass. Bass will eat almost anything, virtually any species of young "minnows". Bluegill, skipjack, slick minnows, chubs, crappie, etc... On the other hand, for protein and bulk it's hard to beat tilapia and stocked trout.
  3. Tatsu is in a league of its own.
  4. Sensitivity is VERY subjective. I will rate Yo-Zuri Hybrid 8 on a scale of 1 to 10.
  5. Hmm... You might have threaded the tip through the side. I've done that a few times and your description is exactly how it felt to me, too.
  6. Well, although I do NOT want to encourage you to pimp your sponsor (considered SPAM around here), I think YOU should ask your sponsor to ramp you up.
  7. I have never understood the concept of targeting fish you hope to release in a tournament. Of course it depends I suppose on where you fish. Around here it generally takes 20+ to win even during a tough bite.
  8. The first thing you will notice is the lack of memory...very impressive.
  9. Although MH is considered a better "all-around" cranking rod, for your intended use I would suggest Medium Power/ Moderate Action.
  10. I actually prefer Smoke or Purple Smoke for stained water, Green for clear water and (usually) Clear because it compliments my rods & reels better! I REALLY don't think it makes a difference to the fish. If you have to have green, give the Izorline XXX a try, I think you will like it a lot.

  12. Stick Marsh/ Farm 13
  13. Yo-Zuri is readily available. Google is your friend.
  14. Buy the various sizes you want first. You don't need a custom tackle box without any tackle.
  15. Do you think that might belong in "Other Species"?
  16. WHAT? Blasphemy! Sometimes neither color nor profile are important, but sometimes they are critical.
