  5. Well, no one except the home teams like playing in Foxborough. Green Bay, Seattle or Denver. However, all these teams occasionally drop a game at home. What is interesting for Bronco fans right now is the emergence of a running game. Tonight's game should be entertaining.

  9. I want a traditional to resemble a crawdad, a swim jig to look like a baitfish. My trailer for a traditional presentation is a Rage Tail Baby Craw, Craw or Lobster. For swim jigs it's a Rage Tail Menace or Shellcracker rigged vertically.
  10. Give both the Norman Fat Boy and Bomber Square A a try.
  11. I don't want to think about it when I'm fishing. I'm going to put on another bait.
  12. GYCB Kut Tail on a 3/8 oz MegaStrike ShakE2 jig head
  13. Well, we have had more DDs reported in the last three years than in the entire history of the the lake. There was an 11+ caught at Second Creek last spring. The guy caught her prefishing on Friday and as luck would have it, again on Saturday for the win! Most if not all of these Walmart Girls have been caught on the Alabama Rig. My theory is that these bass have never been caught and were "uncatchable". Florida strain have been know to avoid artificial lures, especially as they get older. This has not been generally observed in northern strain populations, but here in the Mid South we don't expect many 10 lb bass! The A-Rig is simply irresistable. A school of baitfish swimming in front of a bass triggers the fish's natural instinct to strike. Three years ago I was staying with a couple of guys from our local Bass Pro Shops, but fishing with my buddy, Speedy Madewell. That weekend both of these guys and another friend fishing out of the same boat ALL caught their first DD, fishing The Rig. http://www.thefishingwire.com/story/281402
  14. I don't fish many tournaments, but I don't EVER want to miss an opportunity or lose a fish due to equipment failure.
  15. Reminds me of women's shoes, purses and shoes. Try selling that story to your wife.
  16. Green Pumpkin Rage Tail Toad is hard to beat!
  17. That's probably a couple of thousand dollars of damage and the perps trade a little copper for a pipe load of crack.
  18. No, the brand of mono backing is of no importance at all. I generally match diameter, but that isn't required either. If the lines have similar diameters, a simple blood knot will do. Otherwise I would connect the lines with an Albright knot.
  19. Copolymer lines are inexpensive, so try a few and see what you think: P-Line CXX, Yo-Zuri Hybrid and Izorline.
  20. Yo-Zuri Hybrid is a bonded, not coated, nylon fluorocarbon blend. the line is inexpensive, currently on sale 600 yards for $8.99. Spinning tackle: #6 (11.9 lb breaking strength) Baitcasting gear: #12 (19.5 lb breaking strength) http://yo-zuri.com/Products/Yo-Zuri_Fishing_Line/details/Yo-Zuri_Hybrid.html
  21. For the most part Rage Tail, MegaStrike and GYBC.
  22. I prefer spinning tackle. Generically, 7' MF; specifically, St. Croix LES 70MF/ Stella 2500FB/ Yo-Zuri #6.
  23. I have #20 mainline on two rigs for bottom contact. One I consider a dedicated jig rod, the other weighted soft plastics. I also use Tatsu as the mainline for swim jigs.
