The MBR 844 is a great rod for jigs and weighted soft plastics, but can also be used as an "all-around" rod. However, I do not think it is the "best" topwater stick. My main rod for topwater is the PR844C which is much more flexible than the MBR.

I love the Holidays! Ours start with flags for Labor Day and extends through Veteran's Day. Then Halloween is BIG for us. Thanksgiving begins November 1st and today the Christmas decorations start to appear...
