  1. Alberto exclusively for me.
  2. As long as the knot is well buried, it doesn't make any difference.
  3. The Curado G on sale for $90 - $100 is a no brainer.
  4. Try to come Thursday afternoon. Long Mike and I are grilling burgers for the gang. Ms. BassnChris (BeckieC) is baking her special beans, too. You don't need an ID, you are welcome to 1 of my beers!
  5. The Memphis BPS is staffed with some good guys, knowledgeable and GREAT sticks! Several of these guys are friends, one is a "main" fishin partner and I have fished with a dozen others. Although I don't actually fish any BPS house tackle, I think it represents "value" for many anglers. Regarding "the experience", man the Spring Sale ROCKS! All the big local names and guides throughout the region are there and most demonstrate their skills in the tank. Want to talk with Bill Dance? He is there along with several of the current stars.
  6. If said person really exists and is actually domiciled in Alabama, one should expect to make his acquaintance at the RoadTrip.
  7. Geez... The closeout prices on the Curado G series is a no brainer. $90 - $100 for this reel is a steal!
  8. I have both and prefer the 50 size. I have been experimenting with both direct tie braid and fluoro leader, but my preference is straight Tatsu #20.
  9. Perfect description of where to fish The Rig. The main reason pros are pros is their ability to find fish. As Rick Clunn would say, "Catching bass is easy, finding them is the challenge". As a result the top tournaments don't allow A Rigs to be used. What does that tell you about the effectiveness of this tool?
  10. Have Rick and Chuck sent in their forms?
  11. GREAT rod: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing_lures/pinnacle-optimus-xlt-dhc-review.html
  12. I wonder when they get their next shipment. Did they give any idea?
  13. 00 Mod has both, but he is out for a couple of days.
  14. Well, that seems pretty normanl to me.Over the years I have gone technique specific but there is a lot of overlap!
  15. Lamiglas SR705R is THE BOMB! The reel is a CTE200GT. Line is #30 Kanzen with #10 Tatsu leader. Casts a mile, stealthy and I don't lose many fish.
  16. Rage Tail Lobster, Rage Rigged
  17. NASCAR defines the phrase, "If you ain't cheatin' you ain't tryin". The last straw for me was Junior taking out the field on the infield grass while racing for the Lucky Dog a few years ago.. 17 cars as I recall and no suspension, fine or any other retribution. I'm done with NASCAR.
