  1. Mike has supertuned two of my reels and I couldn't be happier!
  2. Unlikely, Mike Siebert is Siebert Outdoors.
  3. Hmm... I guess the rest of the boys are going to let this run until everyone knows how to spell S-T-U-P-I-D.
  4. Weekend before last: Rage Tail Toad For the past four days: North Star Original Swim Jig, Rage tail Menace, Shellcracker and GYCB Swimming Senko trailers; Mizmo tube, black w/ red flake and a watermelon 5" Senko.
  5. Yesterday I caught a monster that had broken me off Friday. I was able to remove the hook and recover my Rage Tail Lizard!
  6. We'll have to wait on Chris for comments on the meanmouth rumor, but we already know the story on this beautiful fish. A young man caught and released the fish a week or so before Fish Chris caught this monster. He was so taken back by the fact that the young man released the prize, he had two replicas built, one for himself and one for the kid.
  7. We have a thread in the Smallmouth section about meanmouth. Browsing through a few sites on the internet I found my all-time favorite picture of you and your PB "smallmouth". Is this in fact the World Record meanmouth? http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=meanmouth+hybrid+bass&id=BF9CA74D2BB197A60CDAF0639566ABDA370FFBE9&FORM=IQFRBA#view=detail&id=BF9CA74D2BB197A60CDAF0639566ABDA370FFBE9&selectedIndex=0
  8. Our very own Fish Chris may have caught the World Record meanmouth: http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=meanmouth+hybrid+bass&id=BF9CA74D2BB197A60CDAF0639566ABDA370FFBE9&FORM=IQFRBA#view=detail&id=BF9CA74D2BB197A60CDAF0639566ABDA370FFBE9&selectedIndex=0
  9. Welcome aboard!
  10. Shimano has been a proven winner. Lews is a very popular up and comer.
  11. Two monsters today. This morning on a Mizmo tube, black with red flakes. This afternoon, NorthStar Original Swim Jig (bluegill)/ Rage Tail Menace. Bonus: I was broken off by the afternoon fish last Friday. I was testing 4# P-line and broke off on the knot. Disposed of the line on the reel and everything left on the spool. Today I recovered a Sugioi #4 EWG and a Rage Tail Lizard.
  12. Jewel Bait Hound Dog Retriever Have not lost a lure this year.
  13. Missouri...The REAL Tigers! Year two...Time to kick some booty!
  14. Not banned. I don't know what has happened, but I miss him, too.
  15. My friend's house is on the bluff overlooking the park. We have caught a few stripes around there, but no smallmouth.
  16. Nice pics, too!
  17. Gentlemen, it's Sunday morning, let's turn down the heat. A few posts have been edited or removed. The OP asked for trailer suggestions. If you have something to suggest, please do so. I have fished most of the trailers mentioned and they have all produced fish. That includes Uncle Josh Pork, RI Sweet Beaver and Double Beaver, Paca Craws, GYCB Flappin' Hog, several brands of single and double tail grubs. These days I mostly fish Rage Tail. I like the action, profile, colors and texture.
  18. I'm not sure that I completely understand the question, but the answer is braided line.
  19. I did not catch any big bass, but all my fish last weekend were caught on either a Rage Toad on top of the grass or a NorthStar Original Swim Jig (bluegill) with a Rage Tail Shellcracker along the edges. I never got a strike on several different hollow frogs and strangely, nothing on a Cavitron. My buddy fished a spinnerbait, Norman Fat Boy and several different poppers without success.
  20. The Tatsu is fine, but I would save it for your jig and/or soft plastics rigs. I'm running 20# Kanzen on one shallow crankbait combo and REALLY like it!
  21. I think I have enough Siebert Jigs to last a lifetime, so I only ordered a dozen!
  22. Congratulations!
  23. Hmm...I don't find any of that to be the case. A human voice does not transmit well in water. I have never known a fish to care about my outfit. Casting forward the fish have no idea where that bait came from. I would say not to directly approach a spot you want to fish, stay casting distance away. Moving down a bank next to water you have already fished doesn't require stealth. I like a big spash when casting, too. I think it attracts bass.
