  1. I dated his daughter in high school. He never invited me fishing or hunting. I don't think he liked me!
  2. As one of the new members on the SEC bandwagon (Missouri '74), I think the records speak for themselves. It's not just seven consecutive National Championships, this is the strongest league in the country and has been for at least a decade. There was a time when the Big 8, Big 10 or PAC 10 could have claimed the title, but this is the SEC Era.
  3. Just ridiculous! Everyone watching this game at home could see that RG3 was hurt. So, we're suppose to believe that the doctor on the sideline, coaches on the field and in the booth couldn't tell? What game were they watching?
  4. Well, I have had the privilege of fishing with a lot of guys on this forum and would like to fish with all of you! I guess BIG O is the only professional I have fished with. I think my next three choices would be Fish Chris, Dwight Hottle and George Welcome.
  5. When asked why he had chosen to play for Alabama and join the rookie class of '08. the senior starter replied: Coach Saben The competition for the best players in the country is fierce and a lot of promises are made. This was (is) Coach Saben's Promise: If you come with me to Alabama, (1) You will graduate. (2) We will win. (3) And you will be a better man when you leave.
  6. Post a review after you have fished the reel awhile.
  7. Give this one a try: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/110842-new-knot-the-big-o/
  8. Nothin' but a cheap shot. The defender was not "in play".
  9. You need to come test them at Pickwick in May!
  10. I think you will find the Lucky Craft to be great jerkbaits after you fish them awhile. They suspend perfectly, but most importantly, continue to vibrate slightly when they appear to be stopped. The Megabass Vision 110 are works of art. I have caught some fish and as far as I can tell, never missed a strike. Those are some fine hooks! I met Mike McClelland in Nashville and purchased a couple McSticks. Pretty lures, but I haven't fished them. Crazy, huh? Same story with the Ima Flint. I fish the Smithwick Pro for walley on Bull Shoals. The Gamakatsu hooks are special.
  11. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
  12. It sounds like everyone who has had work done by DVT is a Happy Camper!
  13. Well, if you have not tried the Rage Tail line-up you are simply missing the boat. I suggest picking up some MegaBugs from MegaStrike, too.
  14. MegaStrike offers both a superior spinnerbait and the best buzzbait on the market: StrikeBack: http://www.megastrikefishingproducts.com/shop/shad-strikeback-spinnerbait.html Cavitron: http://www.megastrikefishingproducts.com/shop/cavitron-lure-buzzbait/
  15. I have been a BIG fan of MegaStike since it was first introduced. Although we call it an "attractant", I don't think that is the case. Two attributes are what I consider important: (1) Helps bass hold the bait longer, especially soft plastics and (2) luricates both soft plastics and hard baits. This second feature improves hook-ups and to some extent, movement through the weeds.
  16. Pretty impressive, but I think the Wild Cards are done.
  17. The Avid series is far superior to the Mossyback. G. Loomis really starts at IMX.
  18. We have several BassResource members that fish ponds here in Germantown and Collierville. Specifically the Civic Center in Collierville, Nashoba Park and Grove Park in Germantown. The fishing has been slow the last two months and probably will not pick up until March.
