  1. I don't know about the low range, but the bite around here improves dramatically when water temperatures drop below 68.
  2. OUTSTANDING! :respect-059:
  3. I prefer MegaStrike Shake2 Pro Series
  4. Me,too! However, as a Broncos fan, I will NEVER like Cutler. My favorite Bear was Mike Singletary followed closely by Sweetness, the greatest running back of all time! The Super Bowl XX Bears were fun. What a group: Coach Ditka, McMahon, Payton, The Refrigerator and Singletary. Those guys were not just great football players, they embodied the spirit of the game.
  5. I'll be below the Pickwick on Saturday fishing from a center console BayRanger, blue on white. Come by and say hi!
  6. If you already have a spinning rod for light lures and a medium baitcasting rig for bigger lures, you are set! As far as lures, these are a few suggestions: Fat Ika, Rage Tail Craw and Baby Craw, Single Tail Grub, Twin Tail Menace, Hair Jig, Shadalicious or Hollow Belly, Sworming Hornet/ LFT Live Magic Shad, Keitech Swing Impact Fat, LC Pointer, Sammy and Spook.
  7. Me, too! Fishing a hard jerkbait is my favorite technique.
  8. Simple suggestions: Target forage: Baitfish or "bugs" Depth: Shallow = topwater, soft swimbait or square bill Mid column = spinnerbait, jerkbait, lipless crank or swim jig Bottom = jig or soft plastic Cover or structure: Both "moving baits" and finesse. If the fish seem active, I'm always going to chose a moving bait.
  9. Both species and smallmouth may be found in the same river or lake, but they don't hang out together.
  10. Back to cheerleaders... Denver never won a Super Bowl without them. Has ANY team won a Super Bowl without cheerleaders?
  11. We have a lot of Curado reels often offered on our Flea Market in the $125-$150 range. That is a "Best Value". I buy almost all of my rods and reels here.
  12. The scent is more about "holding a bait" than being attracted to the bait.
  13. We have cabins and rooms reserved at Pickwick State Park by the dam, but bring on recommendations for everything else!
  14. Actually, you need to try and come over this fall or winter for a shot at a new PB. I have friends we can stay with and you don't need to trailer your boat. We are already catching a few, but Prime Time begins when the water temperature drops another ten degrees (78->68).
  15. Well, now that "I is one of them", I'm not talkin' trash about anyone in the SEC. However, long before the tradition became a national phenomenon, the Kansas City Chief fans were firing up the grill. Take it from John Madden, when it comes to tailgating, Kansas City RULES! Back on topic... There is some great news for Saints fans. The team travels to Dallas on 12/23/2012!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe 1-15?
  16. Man, everyone has some fine fish! Jeff, the coloration on your fish is magical!
  17. Cheerleaders?
  18. Well, the packaging generally ensures that each bait is delivered exactly as it was designed. If you have the misfortune of picking up a damaged product, return it to the retailer for exchange.
  19. Reels make fishing fun, rods make it more productive. Generally, the cost of my stuff is 2/3 reel, 1/3 rod, but 50/50 is a good mix.

    For "HATERS" it's a great start! 0-4 I'm hoping 0-16
  21. Never unless you already know the lake/pond. All structure/ cover has potential.
  22. Didn't see the game here. How did the Raiders score at all? That's a team with no O and no D. Does Oakland get to play the Cowgirls this year? Oh! That was preseason.
