  16. No...The Man Rule is universal. The guys that have posted are just having fun...EVERY hetero knows The Man Rule. Troughs, bushes and "out back" are an entirely different story.
  17. You can use anything for backing. The braid I use is about 80 yards or so, 4 "new" line changes per spool.
  18. Don't buy them...You need to spend your money on known producers when you are just starting out. Guys buy "junk lures" for fun after they already own everything important.
  19. Fished Saturday, not Monday.
  20. I am hoping some of you that are killin' 'em with an Alabama Rig are willing to share your rigging. I have been experimenting with all kinds of stuff, but have decided to go light tackle only. The heavy rigs just wore me out! So, here are a couple of mine: Outside arms: LFT Live Magic Shad on light wire #3 Offset Worm Hooks Inside arm: Johnson Silver Minnow, Keitech Swing Impact Fat, larger LFT Live Magic Shad, Hollow Belly or Shadalicious. I may try a 6" flutter spoon again, but lost that rig on the first cast!
  21. Look in our International Section. We have several members from Cypress and the bass fishing is excellent! Regarding your gear, before narrowing your choices, give us the price range you are considering. Welcome aboard!
