  1. SPRO little John and Bill Lewis Echo 1.75 are my favorite squarebills
  2. I would get the Mojo out of the 3 you listed
  3. LonnieP replied to Russ E's topic in Everything Else
Sorry to hear that. There’s nothing worse than a thief.
  4. Check out the Cabela’s Arachnid reel. It’s a rebadged CT-R but all black with a blue spool. On sale now also for 112.
  5. I have that exact same rod. Caught a 5lb and 7 lber on it last fall. Never had a problem.
  6. Steez SV on a Steez AGS rod.
  7. I don’t believe I’ve ever bought a lure that didn’t have the weight somewhere on the package
  8. I’d say it’s mostly location and timing . I’ve caught big bass on a jig,Crankbait, buzzbait, and Texas rig but I’ve caught the majority of my big bass on a lipless Crankbait.
  9. I use a Dobyns Fury 705cb and a Daiwa Tatula 7’ Med regular for squarebills. Both are good rods but I prefer the Tatula. It is lighter and I can feel the vibrations from the lure a lot better with the Tatula.
  10. I agree. Caught this bass on a Little John
  11. Do a Google search for anti rattle hitch pin. I got one a while back and the noise has disappeared. Best 20 bucks I ever spent.
  12. I’ve been thinking about putting Hedgehog ZR bearings in my SV. What can I expect performance wise?
  13. Berkley Power worms t-rigged Rage craw or chunk for jig trailer
  14. I have the 7 ft Tatula medium regular action rod. It is a great jerkbait bait rod . I’ve never thrown any bottom contact lures with it though but I think the regular is closer to fast than moderate fast. Like Junger, I also have a 7ft Zillion med XF and it’s great for light plastics but not sure how it would do with jerkbaits. The new cork handle Tatulas should be out next month, not sure if they changed the lock nut on them or not.
  15. I always have a rod with a Texas rig tied on and one with a jig. It's been many times when the bass preferred one over the other.
  16. X2 for the Livetarget frog
  17. I use 12 lb FC for jigs and Texas rigs. I only like braid for frogs.
  18. They’re building a new Dicks at Willow Lawn in Richmond so actually it’s just moving.
  19. Not much to choose from at BPS. I think they sell the Mojo Bass rod which is a good rod for the money.
  20. The Tatula 100 will be out next month. That would be my choice.
  21. Calcutta’s are really nice for $20. Been wearing them the past few years. Best I’ve found for the money.
