  1. Garmin has excellent customer service. Never had to use it with my fish finder but did once with there hunting dog tracker and they are top notch for making things right.

You can catch bass with live worms but you will also catch every other kind of fish living in the water also.
  3. I fish a 3100 acre lake with a 10 foot pond prowler. It's not just the recreational boaters that are rude, its also a big majority of bass anglers. I've had countless bass boats blast by me within casting distance on a 100 yard wide stretch of water. Now a few will be polite and slow down but the majority dont. That's why i only fish the back creek from spring until fall.
  4. 12 lb P-line tactical fluorocarbon for Texas rigs and jigs. 12 lb McCoy xtra clear for everything else.
  5. I’d recommend the Daiwa Tatula. The original, not the XT. They can be found online for a little over a hundred bucks. I like my Dobyns Fury, but I like my Tatula Rods a lot better.
  6. I use straight flouro for Texas rigs. Never used a leader before and can't see myself doing it anytime soon. We dont have clear water in Virginia and I'd rather have just one knot to worry about.
  7. Here in Virginia all you need is a bill of sale to register a boat.
  8. Spinnerbaits work just fine with spinning gear and they will catch fish anywhere in the water column, so no it doesn't have to be near the surface.
  9. Another vote for the original Tatula rod. No other rod comes close in its price range.
  10. Walmart group 29 marine battery is a good one. A little over a 100 bucks
  11. The bass probably didn't move, they just quit biting. I fished a small 1 acre pond the other day. I caught 1 bass the first hour and 15 minutes I was there, then all of a sudden they started biting like crazy and i caught 11 more in 45 minutes, I was throwing nothing but a jig and craw the whole time ,so lure selection had nothing to do with it.
  12. 9 inches won't be too big. You'll just be able to see it better.
  13. Berkley 10" power worm. I think they have a 12" coming out soon
  14. One of my favorite spots on my lake is some pads in 2 to 4 foot of water that drops off to 15 foot close by.
  15. I always fish alone. To me getting away from people is one of my favorite things about fishing. Just me and nature.
  16. Another vote for a Texas rigged worm.
  17. There are usually some new crucials on ebay. I had one and broke it as well. I loved that rod. If you can't find one maybe check out the Zodias
  18. I’d use the 7.2 and 7.4 for jigs and Texas rigs. The 5.1 for crankbaits and the 6.2 and 6.3 for everything else.

    They’re my favorite jig trailer
  20. It all boils down to lack of common sense. Sadly it’s everywhere these days.
  21. I was in Cabela’s a while back and asked a salesman where the jig trailers were located and he just looked dumbfounded and had no idea as to what I was asking him. Lol

I play a little. Have an Epiphone Les Paul and a Yamaha acoustic
  23. A group 29 is the smallest battery you should go with. A 36 inch shaft is all you need on a Jon boat.
  24. I would go with 55..I had a 36 on my Pond Prowler and it felt like I was barely moving when the wind got up and the water got a little choppy. I'm much happier now with the 55.
  25. All my stuff is rigged up before I go. Most of the time I use what I fished with the last time I went out unless it's a major change in the conditions. I like to keep it simple and don't get overwhelmed with too many choices of lures.
