  1. Thanks for posting this. Just ordered an anti rattle hitch pin. My hitch makes a terrible racket every time I hit a bump in the road.
  2. My answer would be no. If a bass will try to eat a lure with 3 treble hooks hanging off of it I doubt that line would spook them. There are no clear water lakes in my area so maybe it does matter if fishing clear water?

    X2 for Cavitron
  4. I have 2 CTs and 2 SVs and all 4 cast the same distance
  5. I was out in the yard this evening and the buds on my dogwood tree are opening and starting to bloom
  6. I do the same thing. Pencil through a box works good for me
  7. Caught this 6.15 pound girl today on a SPRO little John. Water was 56 degrees . It was a pretty slow day and was getting ready to head home but I decided to try one last spot before I headed out. I’m glad I did.
  8. I have a 7 ft medium I use for light t-rigs. I really like it. Feels great and really sensitive. Daiwa just recently discontinued them.
  9. I can’t stand the taste of bass but I have no problem with other people eating what they catch.
  10. I used a 40 lb endura the first year I used my pond prowler. It worked fine unless the wind was blowing. I fish in a pretty big lake and when the water got choppy it felt like I was barely moving. A few months ago I bought a 55 lb variable speed endura Maxx. It only moves the boat 1/2 mph faster but it cuts through the water a lot better on those windy days. I don't notice any more battery drain since I switched but the variable speed is supposed to have less battery drain.
  11. I use 12 lb P-line tactical fluorocarbon using a Trilene knot and have never had a fish break off.
  12. That would be too much of a pain for me. Id save up and buy another reel. All you really need is 2 combos. One for cranks and one for everything else
  13. Texas rigged power worm
  14. I'll probably get one once they're on Ebay for a better price
  15. Pack of 7 inch Berkley power worms 3/0 gamakatsu hooks 1/8 ounce bullet weights 1 Liv-n-chrome Ratl-trap
  16. Megabass vision 110 woops...don’t have enough money! Lol
  17. I agree. The point that I was making was that, even with the same type of line, I can turn down my brakes with a limper, better casting line.
  18. I rarely throw anything over 1/2 ounce on my CT's and SV's and I usually keep my brakes on 6. The line you use also plays a factor. I usually use P-line tactical fluorocarbon and anything under 6 on the brakes will usually backlash. I spooled one of my reels with Sniper for the first time the other week and I had to turn the brakes up to 8 or 9 to stop it from backlashing.
  19. They are very stable. I can jump up and down on the edge of mine. It would take a huge wave to turn it over
  20. No mines not the Crankbait model. The fury has a lot better feel to it and is more sensitive
  21. Dobyns Fury 705cb is what I use for shallow to medium Crankbaits. I also have an E6X and the Dobyns is a lot nicer rod for a lot less money.
