Lake Chesdin has them. I catch them all the time, not that I want to. I’ve also caught them at Picture lake in Dinwiddie county. They have a campground there and I’m pretty sure they rent boats.

You can find a new Tatula rod for around 100 on eBay. I have both and the Tatula is much better than the E6x I have.

I feel your frustration. I’ve been wanting to look at some upper end rods because I want something better than what I have for Texas rigged worms but no one in this area stocks decent rods. Not even BPS or Cabela’s.

I’ll order bigger purchases from BPS sometimes only because of the 6 pay plan they have. Everything else I order elsewhere or buy local. My closest BPS is 20 minutes from my job and they don’t even stock my favorite fishing line.

I leave my plastics in the bag they came in and I keep those in the side pouches in my tackle bag.

War eagle is the only spinnerbait I’ll throw since I first tried them 2 years ago. They flat out catch fish.

I use the exact same Mojo bass rod for jerkbaits and it works well for me.

I own Shimano and Daiwa . Both make good reels but I like Daiwa better.

Yes I have a trolling motor on front of the boat. I fish a 3100 acre lake though, I was thinking I could cover a lot more water and get from point A to B faster with the outboard.
