You've got $20!

Recommended Posts

Scenario: You have your choice of a rod and reel spooled with whatever line you want. Now you have $20 to spend on lures/tackle for a day on the lake. What are you buying?

For this exercise let's just say that weather, lake, temperatures, and all other conditions are irrelevant.

Well, first it depends on the store's stock and prices...

I would figure something like this:

Spinnerbait, buzzbait or chatterbait (they last a while and you can catch a lot of fish on them).

Some soft plastics or cheaper senko knock offs

Eagle Claw 3/0 Hooks (usually buy Gammy's for EWGs and Owners for everything else, but Eagle Claw's are cheaper)

1/4oz weights

4" or 5" Storm Wildeye Swim Shads.

Should make it under $20.

Is this a 5 bass heavist weight or MLF numbers tournament? We use our boats? Either tournament scenario my boat has everything I need, $20 for lunch.
