  1. I’ve used Senkos that are torn up something bad, and I still catch fish on them.
  2. I was more proud of buying my first boat than when I bought my first house. I had also not grown up around boats and am still getting the hang of it. I bought my 2014 Tracker when I was 26, and it’s still fairly new to me. I keep things simple, if I don’t have the financial means to do something, I revisit the issue later and reevaluate at a later date. When I was younger, I fished out of a kayak for years and I enjoyed it tons, but that’s what I could afford at the time. Enjoy the fun times, we only live once. Just don’t go bankrupt trying to fuel a hobby is my 2 cents!
  3. So far it’s been Crankbaits, T Rigs, Wacky rigs and Free rigs.
  4. I don’t throw a ton of spinnerbaits, but when I do, I primarily use war eagle and haven’t had any issues with them.
  5. You got me itching to look at new trucks now, but mine still has some years to go lol
  6. What I’ve done so far in my boat once a year is: Change oil Change both fuel filters Change oil filter Change lower gear unit oil Change spark plugs
  7. Hey y’all, So like the topic states I’ve been overthinking my hook sets the last couple weeks and would appreciate some feedback. The hooksets in question are more specifically with Texas rigs. So how I set up my T rigs is usually with a finesse worm, straight tail worm or ribbon style worm. I also do not peg the weight and usually use a 3/16oz bullet weight. Now i started thinking, is there a difference in how I should set my hook as compared to using a jig, weightless soft plastic, spinnerbait, as they do not have a weight that’s just free as compared to how I set up my T rigs? How I set the hook now is, when I feel a bite, I level my rod towards the bait, reel in and then pull up to set the hook. Thanks again for any feedback, I know I’m overthinking this one just a tad lol
  8. Sometimes I tye it to the spool or I just lay the line down and throw a piece of tape over it.
  9. Had about 30 minutes to fish yesterday, caught this 3.5lber on the second cast! Probably closer to 4, but I did not have a scale on me.
  10. If anyone runs into a similar issue. I ended up using a pipe wrench and wd-40. The pole was threaded on so I just had to give it some strength and it came off, no issue
  11. I missed you guys. Thought the first time it went down was a while, this topped it. Thanks Glenn for yalls hard work!
  12. I’ve never fished out of a canoe before. My first vessel I ever used on the water was a 10 foot Pelican sit on top kayak I bought for about 100 bucks. I had that yak for a few years and I loved it. Simple to load up in the back of the truck, easy to carry it as it was light and you could literally launch it anywhere you want. Never had any issues with it and only got rid of it to upgrade to a larger kayak. All of the kayaks I owned were pretty stable and I felt relatively comfortable in them for long periods. What I do know about canoes is generally they are pricier and there may not be a whole ton of options to choose from as compared to fishing kayaks.
  13. I appreciate your reply! I have a bass tracker dealership 5 minutes away from me and I’ve asked them plenty of questions since owning this boat lol. I’ll probably stop by tommorow and ask them about this. Thanks!
  14. Hello, I’m looking at removing the seat at the bow of my 2014 Tracker pro team 175 txw. Tried finding videos or instructions on how to do so and can’t find anything. My thinking was that I could simply twist it off using a tool or my hands, but I have no had no luck thus far. My plan is to remove the whole pole if possible, I want to have a clear front deck. Any help is appreciated
