I'm just going in here for some Senkos.
I got it under control. I gone to BPS and Cabelas and walked out without buying anything. The strange part after that is my wife calling 911 to get me checked out to see how sick I am.

Bass Pro Shop Experience
The last time I went BPS was back when their big spring sale was going on. The only reason I went was to use up the points I had before I lost them. I had around $12 in points and spent about $16. I only bought what I knew I would use. BPS only allows you to keep points for 1 year and then you lose them. They have gotten so expensive I don't go there much anymore. The only way to get a good deal is if they have something on sale you really want. The points aren't worth much if your paying too much to begin with.

Morone lures?
I have never heard of them. Are these for freshwater or saltwater lures?

Alton Jones Accident on the Sabine
I think they should limit them to 150 HP motors. They might not like it but it would slow them down to a safer speed.

Frustrated New Member in Nevada
Hello and welcome to the forum. I would find a new place to fish. Start with the basics by using worms, grubs, and, centipedes. If the fish are there you should at least get some bites on them.

So, are you supposed to leave your Boat Batteries plugged in 24/7 all-year long on the Onboard Charger?
It likely depends on the brand of charger as to whether or or not it has a trickle charge mode. I plug mine in as soon as I get back from fishing and leave it for several hours. I will unplug it over night and plug it back in the next day for a while. when I am going again I will plug it in the day before. In the winter I plug in the charger once every 2 or 3 weeks for a while. My boat stays in an unheated garage and so far this has worked out okay.

How Long Should a Reel Last?
Your reel is worth fixing. I have several Shimano Curado B reels. When one developed problems I retired it and robbed parts from it for my others when they needed repairs.

Opinions of trailer hooks on spinner baits
I don't use trailer hooks. I would be getting hung up too much with spinnerbaits.

DIY trailer uprights?
If you have a Cabelas store near you it might be worth it to check out their website. In boating they have trailer accessories. They had some guides for a trailer that had lights on them. They also have others.

To trim or not to trim ... and trailers
I usually don't do any trimming on mine. As for trailers I use either a twin tail grub or an ultra vibe speed craw.

Zoom 5'' Super Flukes, how durable?
I can't say how durable they are. I set mine up as a Texas rig with a light weight. Almost every time I catch a fish on one the fish usually throws it off in the water while bringing it in.

KY fishers?
Hello BassKy and welcome to the forum. I am in Lexington and love fishing Taylorsville Lake and the Ky. river when it is not up and muddy.

DIY trailer uprights?
I did not know you had a bed cover on your truck. I also thought about a back up camera which you said yours does not help. The only other thing I might suggest would be the reflective markers which Rahlow suggested. I would try to get something that can be clamped on instead of drilling holes in the trailer. That way you could set them up and adjust them however you want them.

DIY trailer uprights?
When I am backing my trailer down the ramp I get out and drop the tailgate down. I have a 17' bass boat and I can't tell how far I am backing the trailer in without doing this.

White lies to go fishing...
I always tell my wife when and where I am fishing. She wants to know so if anything happens she knows where to look for the body and collect the insurance.

Older Shimanos
I went fishing today and used Curado B for a while. It still casts as good as my newer reels.

Forgive me for doubting.
I bought 2 of the Daiwa Fuego spinning reels Cabelas had on sale. I have only used them twice a little bit. They are super smooth and very little in line problems. My problem is learning to use them. For 15 years I have only used Shimano Spirex reels with the quickfire trigger which I love. I wish these Daiwas had that. I'm still trying to get used to watching where the bail stops to flip it over with the other hand.
