  1. I looked it up on Cabelas website. Yes you have to buy the rod and reel to get the rebate.
  2. I have a 98 Bass Tracker. My live well is set up with a cable operated control valve for the livewell. It went bad and quit holding water in mine. I went through this twice. Instead of paying $50 for a chear plastic valve body I bought a $2 plug for the livewell drain.Problem solved.
  3. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  4. Around here you have to go to the county clerks office to license and register a boat. You might need to check with them about this. A Weedwhacker said laws vary from state to state.
  5. If Ajay gets his roads fixed and they use it keep my retirement system funded we will both win.
  6. I had this happen to me last year only I didn't see it. I heard a big splash about 25' behind the boat. Squirrel got on a limb that broke with it. If it happened about a minute sooner it could have landed in the boat with me as I had just fished that spot.
  7. I recently had a trip where the bite was slow. Heard a noise and saw a deer up on the bank. At least it made the day a little more interesting to watch it for a little bit.
  8. While this seems like a good idea it is my understanding that governments will not accept electronic petitions. They have to be paper petitions to to verify names and addresses.
  9. I have very good luck using 12 pound Sufix Siege for the types of fishing you mentioned. I believe the rod will be fine for these as I use a cranking rod for these types of fishing as well.
  10. I haven't fished a ned rig a lot but when I did I managed to get them hung up and end up breaking them off.
  11. I'm surprised he didn't hook the the boat and forget to go fishing unless he forgot to mention that part.
  12. Prayers for a good recovery.
  13. It would be crankbaits. I gave up a on time ago on frog fishing. I have never caught a fish on a frog.
  14. If you are fishing a lot of rocky areas you will spend a lot of time hung up or breaking off with a ned rig.
  15. The only thing soft drinks do for me is dry me out.
  16. Several years ago I fished with a fellow on Lake Norman in a Ranger boat. When we got the boat put away he got out some portable chargers. When I asked him about it he said he would not have an on board charger. He said he had seen too many boat fires caused by them.
  17. Some body always finds a way me to mess things up for us. I did get some propel. I don't doubt that it can help but according to the label it does not have potassium in it. May have to get some bananas.
  18. I am probably 90% baitcasting and 10% spinning. I use baitcasters for everything. I get out the spinning gear for light weight or unweighted finesse techniques. Some days I get out the spinning combos just to make sure they still work.
  19. I would not be a part of the roundup but I would give them a hollow point headache.
  20. It all represents some thing we should never let America forget.
  21. The only time I can do any good in these conditions is to stay on the upper end where the river feeds in to it. Also fishing any coves in this area.
  22. Hello and welcome to the forum. Good luck fishing and finding a fishing buddy.
