  1. A ribbon tail worm will usually work when all else fails.
  2. Glad you can go out and deal with them and be okay. AS NHBull said I would not go out to an area like that without being armed.
  3. Around here we have too many people that are going to ignore the rules. They are going to do whatever they want to and hope everybody stays out of their way.
  4. Sorry to hear Cabelas is doing people that way. I thought about buying one of their fish eagle rods when they put them on sale again. Guess i will stay away if they are going to be that way about it.
  5. The way your luck with gators has been going you might want to think about moving to another state where they don't have that problem. Please don't bring any of them with you.

  10. It would probably be the reel. I don't buy any real expensive rods.
  11. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  12. I wonder if the fish he catches on them will be considered an accident?
  13. I am trying to find out what is going on with the Bass Pro website. When I go to it which isn't very often it is very slow and the pages don't load good. Sometimes it is so bad I just have to leave the site and forget it. Is anybody else having trouble with their website or is it just my computer? I don't have this kind of trouble with any others. This started when they reworked the website several months ago. The old one was much better.
  14. You notice he didn't return them to the racks they were on. I bet they didn't let him have them free. I least it wasn't an expensive accident.
  15. Hello and welcome to the forum. Hope you can find some one to fish with.
  16. I have some of the wee r and deep wee r baits. I took them out of my tackle box so I didn't end up losing them since you can't find them anymore. This should read some of the original ones before Rebel was bought out.
  17. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  18. I don't know anything about a flogger. I do believe companies have done every thing they can do destroy the meaning of learning to fish. If a lot of these products could not be used in tournaments we would find out who the real pro fishermen are.
  19. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  20. I don't know if Cabelas will phase out their stuff or not. A lot of times I can get a little better price with them than Bass Pro. The problem with our store is that it is a smaller store and can't carry a lot of merchandise or very many colors in a lot of what they do carry.
  21. I have been told if you want to trim the weed guard cut a few strands off by the jig head. this will make it a little softer and easier to get better hook ups.
  22. Went over to the local Cabelas store this morning. Left the bait monkey in the parking lot. Got out and spent less than $10. Talked to a worker in the fishing department. He said in early July Bass Pro would be bringing their stuff in to the store and the fishing department would be a lot bigger. More than likely the prices will suddenly be a lot higher. Thought I would pass this on for those that shop Cabelas as to what to expect.
  23. I use black and blue and pb&j most of the time. I try to match my trailer to the jig I am using. Putting a different color trailer on does catch fish but to me it just doesn't look natural.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
  25. I have not heard about this. In JW case the marshal had to to get out of the boat and physically help get it out. If all this marshal did is move to a different spot in the boat I don't see a problem with that.
