I have had good luck with the red bug color. I have not tried pb&j. Junebug is also a very good color for the conditions you are fishing. A lot of people like the plum color but I don't have any luck on that color.

I should have taken mine back. I bought it a Bass Pro during their big spring sale. I didn't want to drive 90 miles back to the store to return it. I have caught a lot of fish on it. It just isn't as smooth as it should be.

I would take it back and exchange it. I have a bait caster that seemed a little rough and noisy when I got it. I have used it for two or three years now and it hasn't gotten any better. Taking it apart to clean and lube it doesn't help it much.

This is why I don't buy anything just because some pro is pushing it. Best example is the dancing eel that was out a while back. It didn't catch fish 30 years ago the first time it came out and it still doesn't catch fish.

I grew up learning to fish with crankbaits and I still love them. I also like Texas rigged soft plastics when the crankbait bite isn't happening.

It is so hot the fish are begging for ice to form on the water.

I would have to agree with roadwarrior about this. I have used 8lb. Red Label for years as as a leader on my spinning rods and have not had any problems with it.

I got to go fishing today. First time out in almost three weeks. Hit Taylorsville Lake. About 3500 acre lake. Temp when I put in 84 at 10:15. When I left at 4:30 it was about 90.

Glad they caught him. Maybe this will give him a wake up call to use some common sense.

That is one more fish than I have caught on any kind of frog or toad.

I am using a product called Wave Away. It is made for cleaning sonar screens and doesn't contain any chemicals that are harmful to the screens. It is a bit expensive as it around $10 or $12 dollars for it. You get a small spray bottle of cleaner and a micro fiber towel and a small carrying pouch.

Tactical Bassin did a video about buzzbaits. I had one that would lay over on its side. After watching the video I found out the wires were not in line. One was bent off to the side instead of being straight in line with the other one.
