    Hello and welcome.
  2. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  3. You don't have to rub it in. It is 75 here right now with a 30 MPH wind.
  4. As bad as the weather has been I would not move to Florida. I couldn't get used to fishing with a rod in one hand and a shotgun in the other to fight off alligators and pythons.
  5. Junebug is a good color in stained water. I have far better luck on black and blue jigs and trailers in really dirty water. I have never had any luck with a black and blue soft plastic by itself.
  6. Hello and welcome.
  7. I had thought about getting these myself. I like the fact that they are still the aluminum frame instead of a graphite composition. Yes I am a graphite hater when it comes to reels. I have not tried one of these so I can't say how good or bad they are.
  8. I have had two DT6 baits break and i wasn't even abusing them.
  9. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  10. Probably my worst spot is where the combos I am using lay on the deck and over a period of time oil has seeped out of the reels and stained the carpet.
  11. Thank you to everyone for their input and info on this. I will think about it before I start using braid.
  12. My boat is a 98 model. I bought it in 2000. No amount of cleaning will ever get my boat to look that good.
  13. I have not caught a lot of smallmouth on crankbaits but most of the ones I have caught were on a rapala DT4 in bluegill color.

  15. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  16. I have never used braid on any of my combos. I have heard braid can damage the guides on a rod. My newest rod is three years old and some rods are between ten and fifteen years old. Is there any truth to braid damaging the rod guides?
  17. I have a BB1 and two tournament MB reels. The BB1 and one MB reel have been good. One MB reel casts good but you can feel the handle tighten up and get harder to turn after a while. I have taken it apart and lubed it several times. This helps for a while then it will start to tighten up again. Also I am not a fan of magnetic brakes and the ones on the MB reels seem so weak I can't tell they do much so I leave them turned off. I wish I had spent a little more and bought the different gear ratios in the BB1

  20. When did they get more than two seasons up there? Around here we have four seasons and the way our weather is going we could have all four in the same week.
  21. While siege is a very tough line it can get nicks in it. How often are you checking your line for bad spots or cutting off and retying your baits?
  22. Hello and welcome to the forum. I can't help you with your spinning reel question as I only use 2000 and 2500 size Shimano spinning reels. There plenty of people on here that will help you. Good luck.
  23. Minnesota was created for people that hate summer. They only have two seasons. Winter and July
