The shimanos have a lifetime warrenty also I have a few clarus and convergance rods clarus are slighty lighter and have fuji reel seats the convergance is real nice i like the biogrip reel seat wich fits my revos perfect like what was said earlier they are indestructable

I think you limit ur casting if u use heavy action action rods ,with a med fast u can whip a fluke pretty much anywhere with point blank accuracy

I have 8 of um 2 used and abused and still rollin with the big dogs,if u think they are smooth u should see my pro max,s 8 bearings smooth as a babys behind

Ok saying i almost spool my reel was prob too much but the reel holds around 220 yrds of 15 BG and if i can swing it just right prob 1 out of 10 times i can go halfway trhough my spool so im guessing any how im pretty sure its about 100 yrds or more .no beer was present when i do this ;D

if its round its round LOL garcia made many reels based on the 5000 series they had a few for k mart also BASS on the side u have a great reel there u can upgrade the bearings as most likly it has bushings u can MOD this reel out ...VERY easy and it will last for ever

Think about what you just said My Sw chug bugs are modified i drill a small hole in the tail end and put lead in it just enough to make it sit kinda upright at rest im thinking maybe a 1 oz and a half total lure weight

My s 6600 garcia on a 7 foot ugly stick med h action with 15 lb big game and a saltwater chug bug i can almost spool my reel it holds about 220 yrds of 15 this reel is stock too amagine 10 lb line and abec 7 bearings prob do 250 yrds easy

Shallow/mid weedy/woody/barren with a t-rigged plastic even in new bodies of water i feel confident muddy or clear dont matter

when i use Big game the last thing on my mind is my line breaking and even more important my KNOT breaking or failing been using BG for as long as its been out never had a break or knot failure
