  1. I have seen post about the tensile strenght bein weak like 6 lb breaks at 4 lbs and what knot
  2. i love my little 1600 pro max,s ,they can handle 4 and 6 pound line better then most spiining reels and look good doing it
  3. I have about 50 to 60 abu,s some i had for 20 yrs ABU FOR LIFE c-4,s c-3,s c-5,s revos ,torno,s,eon,s pro max,s ,black max,s and assorted spinning reels i do own a few pflueger spinnings reels too and rapalas 1 pinnicle baitcaster and a couple real made in USA zebco 303,s
  4. Burly i dont no where ur fishing but we are close and all i can find is water 35 deg how u gonna experiment with that nice reel
  5. I like METAL baitcasters not saying the promax is not strong but at delos you can buy a revo s for 89 bucks if u enter the code 10 dollars more gets u a metal baitcaster U will sacrifice your MAG brakes though
  6. keep um i have c-3,s c-4,s and c-5,s and like others have siad that narrow spool has a control about it thats so predictable and reliable .besides i notice some abu round reels are being made in china now :) the BXR to be exact i still have 4 each NIB of the 4600,s and i use originals the most even though i have revos also i just LOVE round garcia,s

Hmm i might grab me one i had a little roybi v mag or soemthing a long time ago it was sweet and i held one soemwhere a few yrs ago sorta like this one it was nice but i think it had a price of like 220 bucks roybi used to make nice reels from what i hear are they makin reels for stores now??? i like that mag brake wonder how it performs???

  11. The 6000 has bushing's the c3 has bearings .wait till you cast a c4 or c3
  12. Mono has better knot strenght wich outweighs anything IMO
  13. Do what the others suggest and in no time u will be casting with accuracy/distance while holding a cig, drinking a beer, on one leg, with ur eyes closed against a 30 mph headwind

  16. You canalso get a c5 4600 from Cabelas on sale for 70 bucks its like a c3 but has 5 bearings and a magnetic cast control i have quite a few and love um
  17. Its like that 60 dollar daiwia braid it fails miserably in break strenght but who cares right it says daiwia and u just paid 60 bucks for it :

  24. I dont know about the deal part but i stay away from them reel seats i prefer a exposed blank so much more control and sensitivity.
